Chapter 18
I look out the window of the car in which we are traveling, Reid driving beside me while I stare a bit spellbound at the road. So far, I haven't seen anything extraordinary, other than forests and scenery that to anyone else might go unnoticed. But this is my first time out of town, so everything is exciting and new to me.
Katarina left yesterday before dark and left fake documents for Reid, plus a low-end car that showed up this morning for Reid and I to travel in and go unnoticed. The point is to meet in three days in Los Angeles, where Killian will be taking a short break in the middle of the tour. Traveling by plane could leave records and was more dangerous for Reid, so three days by road ended up being the best option.
