Chapter 19
"Blue" someone slowly shakes my shoulder. "Blue, we're here, wake up."
I blink several times trying to come to, everything is so dark and I can't believe I slept a whole day.
"Mmm," I murmur, focusing to catch a glimpse of Reid's face in front of me. "We arriv...? Ouch!" I scream, being aware for the first time of the pain exploding in my buttock. "It hurts, it hurts, it hurts!"
Reid tries to grab my face, but I shake it off, rolling around in the car seat.
It really, really, really hurts.
"Willa, calm down!" Reid yells, grabbing my shoulders hard. "What hurts?"
"My buttock," I groan.
Reid's eyes widen wildly and in the blink of an eye he scoops me up in his arms, carrying us into the motel.
