Cole's POV
I groan and run upstairs following Evelyn. But she already locked the door. I knock the door and wait for her to open the door.
"Ev! Open the door," I ask her in a soft voice.
But I hear no footsteps towards the door. So I understand she is not opening it right now. I clench my fist and bang it on the door this time. And still no answer.
"I am sorry, okay? I was trying to protect you" I tell her.
I hear no response. I walk to the steps to see Liam standing there in living room not knowing what to do.
"You can leave for now. I'll let you know about everything later," I mindlink him.
He goes stiff and looks around, when he spots me, he nods and leaves the place. I ask Tabitha leave as well and she does. It is still afternoon and if I give myself a holiday today, I can
