"No seriously, where are we going?" Liam asks again.
"I decided that it would be best if we spend the day together, brother" I smile at him.
At this point, he is no more a best friend to me. He is my brother I want to protect. He has been through enough, and I would do anything in my capacity to make him smile genuinely again.
I straight up drive to the cafe where Maria works. Liam shakes his head at me but I shrug as I walk inside.
