Sexy meets Macho Part III

As they enter the restaurant, the music was just right for the night. Especially for Kassandra's evening dress as Kristian thought of it. It was an Eric Clapton song, "Wonderful Tonight". Then there goes the music running through their ears.

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear

She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair

And then she asks me, Do I look all right?

And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight

We go to a party and everyone turns to see

This beautiful lady that's walking around with me

And then she asks me, Do you feel all right?

And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight"

I feel wonderful because I see

The love light in your eyes

And the wonder of it all

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head

So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed

And then I tell her, as I turn out the light

When the song has ended, Kristian told Kassandra that she looks wonderful tonight. Kassandra just gave a sweet smile to Kristian and then thanked him. He gave her a red rose and pulled the chair for her so she can sit down. As the food was served, they started eating. They sip a little wine at the glass. Indeed it was a wonderful night.

After the dinner, Kristian brought her back to her place. They said goodbye to each other not realizing that they didn't get each other's contact numbers. And that was the last night that they saw each other. Kassandra realized that she forgot to get Kristian's contact details and Kristian as well forgot to get hers'. Only their memories were brought with them.

Both of them have returned to their real world. Meanwhile that same night Alvin's mom, Tita Veena called her on the phone. She was told that they need to go to Malaysia to prepare for Alvin's proposal with Susie. Since Kassandra was not in love with Alvin anymore, no more hurt feelings, she immediately agreed to her Tita Veena.

They set the travel date and organized everything. They all went to Malaysia and Alvin proposed to Susie. Everything went well as planned. Now Alvin and Susie were engaged. They have set the wedding date because her Tita Veena wants them to get married as soon as possible.

Kassandra was very happy for both of them. Susie noticed that Kassandra is not in love with Alvin anymore. She decided to have Kassandra as her bridesmaid. She told Kassandra about her being the bridesmaid. Kassandra was very happy. They made Kassandra the bridesmaid and Kassandra was very surprised when she found out who was the Bestman... It's Kristian!

"How did you know Kristian?" Kassandra asked Alvin while she was filled with excitement. She's excited because she would like to know everything about how he met Kristian. She's wondering how he knows Kristian.

She never imagined that after that dinner she will still be able to see Kristian and it was at her childhood friend's wedding. She was very excited to see him. She remembered since they left the place where they met they never got the chance of sending SMS or call each other. It seems like it was destiny that wants them to be together.

"Kristian? Do you know him? He is Susie's friend back in college. He was that nerdy friend of Susie back when they were studying. He is a novel writer and Susie loves his novels". Alvin explained while Kassandra is full of questions in her mind.

"Yup! I know him. I met him when I went to my friend's resthouse for a vacation. It was a short vacation and we had dinner together. But we did not take note of each other's contacts so I haven't seen him in a while". Kassandra said while daydreaming about meeting Kristian. Alvin notices her happiness while talking about Kristian and he is happy for Kassandra.

Kassandra is very happy and excited to see Kristian. At long last, he will see his novel writer's destiny again. She fell in love with him the first time they met and She wants to know more about him. She was laughing while thinking about what Alvin said.

"So... He was that nerdy friend back in college." She told herself while smiling.

At the Wedding reception...

After the wedding, the couple went into the bridal car and head to the reception. The entire guests also go to the reception. That's the only time that Kristian and Kassandra got the chance to talk to each other. They never got the chance to talk at the wedding and only looking at each other's eyes.

It was like they are conversing with each other saying. How it happened that both of them are here at the wedding. Also looks like they're telling each other, I'm so happy to see you again.

"So it was you? That's what I thought when I see the name on the invitation, It looks familiar. I was thinking if it was you or some Kassandra that I don't know. I want to approach you earlier but I got no chance at all". Kristian said in shock when she saw Kassandra at the wedding.

"Yup it's me. I found out that you're Susie's friend. Nice to see you here". Kassandra said while she secretly smiles. Her heart is jumping in happiness seeing her handsome destiny, Kristian. She almost forgot her common friend who gives them a place to stay when they went on vacation.

"Oh yeah, She is my friend. She is also a friend of Jasmine. Our friend who referred us to the place last time for vacation, remember?" Kristian said while thinking if Kassandra forgot the common friend. They found themselves laughing at each other's company.

They did not even notice that not that far distant from where they were sitting, the newlywed is looking at them. The couple is happy for them. Everyone is happy at the wedding. And the happiest are Kristian and Kassandra. They just talk all day at the reception just like no one is around them.
