Chapter 12: The Cat and the Custard

Jack sighed and said “I know where she is, don’t worry”

“You do? Where?”  Aiden asked urgently. The thought of Bee being upset, alone and soaked through made him anxious.

“She is at the Cat and Custard Pub on Docks Lane” Jack said opening his car door.

“The Cat and Custard? How do you know?” Ethan asked

“Because it is a Sea Gang Pub and she has gone there to feed her addiction” Jack said as he got in.

“Addiction?” Ethan said shocked. Bee did not seem the type that was involved in drugs or any other substances.

“You don’t know? Bee has a serious Addiction to chocolate! She is hard core, so does not mind what format it is in. Now are you getting in? It is not that far away.”

The Twins got quickly in the back of the car and Jack sped off into London Town.

The Cat and Custard Pub, Docks Lane, London.

The trio walked in to the old pub and went straight to the old wooden Bar. The front of the bar was painted a dark green and the pub was dimly lit. The old wooden floor creaked as they walked across it and Aiden noticed that there were old prints of boats on the wall. There was various boat Paraphernalia on the walls including a old life jacket and a stuffed sea gull.

A old man with a white beard and a flat cap was behind the bar. He stared at the trio when they walked in, along with the 10 other men.

“Afternoon Captain, what will you be having?” The Old man said. He obviously recognised Jack and the Sea Gangs always called their Gang leaders Captain.

“A Siren if you please Ernest!” Jack said 

“Don’t know what you are talking about. Ain’t no Siren here!” Ernest said stroking his beard.

“Right, so that smell of Pam’s famous unicorn hot chocolate is because these sailors have suddenly grown a sweet tooth!” Jack said

“Unicorn Hot Chocolate?” Ethan asked

“Whole milk with melted chucks of white hot chocolate and Bailey’s. It is all topped with whipped cream, rainbow drops, sprinkles, edible glitter and candy stars. It is a class A drug to a chocolate addict and I know you keep supplies in especially for the Siren. So I ask again, where is she?”  Jack said calmly.

Ernest sighed and said “ She just finishing up in the shower, she going to be in the Siren’s room”

“See was that so hard?” Jack said as the three of them moved towards a door behind the bar.

Ernest put his hand out and said “Only the Captain can go, we don’t like your kind here!”

“Our kind?” Ethan growled

“The Land Loving kind.....you are nothing but trouble and not worthy to be round our Siren!” Ernest growled in response.

“Do you know who we are?” Aiden said in an arrogant tone.

“ I don’t need to know your names, I can smell the buttery scent from your soft white land loving bodies!” Ernest retorted.

“Ernest, I expect a lot better from you! We are not like Land Gangs, we welcome guests from every where!” A familiar voice said. The Twins turned and saw Bee in an old T shirt and joggers with a towel wrapped round her head. She was in a door way, obviously just come from upstairs.

Instantly, the men in the pub stood up and bent the knee and put an arm across their chest. With bowed heads they murmured “Siren!”  Even Ernest bowed his head and put his arm across his chest.

Aiden and Ethan looked at Bee stunned. Even in very casual clothes she looked like a Queen and clearly had won the hearts and minds of these men.

Bee rolled her eyes and said “Come on guys! Please get up and continue to to enjoy your free time that you work so hard for! I am not here in an official capacity and therefore please don’t stand on ceremony. I am just plain old Bonny Clearwater from the Kraken Gang!”

Some of the men laughed as they stood up and went back to drinking their Beers. Bee walked over to Jack and smacked him on the back of the head.

“Your little stunt caused me soooo much trouble, you utter butt nugget!” Bee scolded

“Owww! You always resort to violence Bee!” Jack said rubbing the back of his head.

“Huh! You got off lightly! Now go upstairs and shower, you officially stink!” Bee ordered 

Jack did a mock salute and said “Aye, Aye Captain!” Before Winking and running through the doorway that Bee had just come through.

“And what about these two?” Ernest said with scowl.

“Hmmm well they are allowed I suppose! Come on we will go in the back.” Bee said with a smile as she asked passed them and through the door behind the bar.

Ernest growled when the Twins followed her and said “I will be keeping my eye on you both!”

“I am sure you will!” Ethan said with a wink

“But rest assured she is in very good hands” Aiden said an evil smirk. Ernest growled loudly at the them, but the Twins were Unfazed. Their giant training master, who’s voice boomed like thunder most days had Hardened them.

The Twins walked into a room and saw Bee sat down on a sofa The room was painted a green, with an old Victorian  fireplace. There was a painting of a women sitting on a rock in the middle of a sea, with a ship in the distance. There was shelves filled with books of various languages and an old wooden table and chair set. There was also a large red sofa and a soft comfy looking chair.

“There you are!” Ethan said happily as he went over and sat by her.

“This is cosy!” Aiden said as he sat on a chair next to Bee. Bee stopped stirring a large hot and looked up.

“Indeed, one of the few perks of being a Siren. I have theses hide aways everywhere I go” Bee explained happily.

“You left us and we were worried!” Ethan pointed out

“Yes you should not have done that!” Aiden said gently.

Bee sighed and said “I am sure I will find some way to make it up to you”

“Hmmm” Ethan said as he moved closer and with one finger gently pushed Bee’s head towards him. Before Bee could say anything he kissed her. Bee didn’t resit and allowed him to slip his tongue into her mouth. She moaned as she felt her heart beat faster and following her instincts she straddled Ethan.
