Courting the Future Queen

Courting the future queen is gonna be challenging since she is unsure of her role and that is where im gonna come and swoop her off her feet Teddy will feel so much love and forever know that I will do anything for her. 

Teddy pov 

I must know who this man is next time he comes im gonna be waiting and he's not gonna run, I want him to answer my questions and then take me in his arms and hold me close because I know that he is my mate and however being far away from him is hard an I know that he feels it to so it's time to stop playing games and talk. 

I know that he is gonna show up late at night because then he can't be seen by the guards that roaming the property, he always stays close to the garden because he knows that is my favorite place to be my mother would bring me out her everyday and after she died this is the only place I felt close to her.

Alex pov 

As I silently creep to the garden I see her sitting there and I know that its time to answer her questions about who I am and why I can't seem to stay away from this place, walking up the path she gets up and starts walking towards the woods I follow her and come upon a cottage style house and following her inside I realize that this is her house that she just stays at the manor to make her dad happy. There pictures from her childhood on the walls but what I wasn't expecting is to see me in the background of several of the pictures.

She motions for me to sit down so I do and begin by telling her my name, she already knows who I am but wants to know why the moon goddess put them together she cant be mated to a shadow she says and I just look at her and tell her that once I find my mate and we finish the ceremony I will be put back into my manly form, the one she is looking at right now because its night time and I only shift to a shadow during the day. I can tell that she is confused so I tell her if she wants to see the change that she can come with me to the barrier and then to my manor and talk to Penny who has been around for a long time and has seen some s**t in her life.

Teddy pov 

I go decided to go with him but knew I would need someone to cover for  me so my father doesn't rage out like he did a few years ago when I went away with a witching fellow named seamus, so I mindlink with my auntie and tell her everything and she said she would cover for the next couple days but I needed to be home before the next full moon.  

I'm completely in awe with this man from the way his hair falls over his shoulder and his large muscular arms to the way his jeans fit the curve of his butt, I need to get that image out of my head and focus on understanding what I don't understand. I follow him up the stone walkway to his manor when I looked up I seen the most beautiful black rose garden it reminded me of my garden back home I think he did this so I would feel close to my mom when I couldn't be home. 

Alex opened the door and I walked past him into the beautiful foyer when I see a young women come out of what looks to be a kitchen, she keeps staring at me it's a little creepy but I don't mind. He motions me to walk into an office I immediately sit down he then sits across from me and asks me to tell him all about my history and my life an what I wanted in life. 

Alex pov 

My prophecy book tells of a women who has the ability to shift and has a wolf inside her but she is unaware of the abilities because they don't come  forth till they mate under the last full moon of the summer, this is strangely familiar but i'm not sure where i've felt this before maybe a dream.

I'v been having these strange dreams for awhile since I found my mate I want to tell Penny but i'm not sure what her answer is gonna be maybe this is part of the prophecy I don't know but wish I did because then I could plan accordingly to what is supposed to happen and how its supposed to happen. This has been the longest month of my life just waiting for everything to happen and to just back on track, hopefully she will agree to marry me when I take her out tonight for a nice dinner an a horse drawn carriage ride thru the countryside to my private manor where i'm gonna pop the question in the rose garden. 

I hope that all goes the way it's planned because if it doesn't i'm gonna be upset and I hope that she understands why this must happen first, I can't mate if i'm unwed the prophecy talks about if I mate before i'm wed then I will stay a shadow walker and lose all my powers and never be able to shift again and i'll only be able to walk around at night or with the witches brew. 

Life will never be the same for me one way or another I have to have her she's all mine and I never want her to be far away from me because if she is I would lose my mind an I cant have that not so close to the beginning of the prophecies and the war, she needs to be present for it all and the only way I can keep her is by making her my wife as I say to myself while holding a diamond ring in the shape of a heart set in silver with rose gold side bands.
