Ricardo I woke up and I felt as if I'd been asleep for only a couple of hours. I checked the time to realize it was nearly lunchtime. I had been exhausted, and the silk sheets and king-size bed had knocked me out. As well as the shot of sherry I had before hitting the sack. I felt alive, more alive than I'd felt in weeks. I didn't feel as if the world was on my shoulders as I stretched and got out of bed. Shit, I wish I could spend one more night here, just to feel like myself one more time.
