Submissive Me

Chapter 7

It was soon morning and the alpha could not shake the feeling of grimm whenever he thought of Lucas, he didn't like what Zandia had told  him  earlier of Lucas asking various questions about her and knowing things about his omega. The alpha knew what type of man Lucas is, he knew the man only takes interest into things he deemed worthy of his attention, but he also knew once  Lucas Norwich deemed you worthy he stops at nothing to make you his possession. It was troubling for the alpha, he  isn't afraid of the man,  no not the slightest but he didn't want trouble either. " You must speak with Norwich" Ares wolf said to him. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Penny for your thought". Zandia had woken up a short while ago watching her alpha deep into his thoughts. The alpha snuggled her up close to him and buried his face into her neck, the omega gasp at the touch of his sudden affection, the alpha's grip was tight as if he dreaded losing her. " Are you okay alpha", She asked.

" My mind keep going back to Lucas, I hate that he has this sudden interest in you". The omega sighed and hugged him back. " I don't think it is anything you should worry about". The alpha kissed his mate's head and hugged her even tighter." if that was even possible" he whispered. " Um, alpha i might break if you keep hugging me this tight". Ares chuckled. " It is almost sunrise, go back to bed my little mate". The two embraced each other for the remainder of their sleep. 

It was now morning and Zandia woke to her alpha missing from her side, she got up and did her morning routine, she wondered around the floor the alpha's suit is located, peeping into room after room, one particular room  seemed to get her attention, it was a library filled with many shelves of books just as she got lost into admirer the books on the many shelves inside the room  Elizabeth one of the maids in the pack house came up behind her.

" Good morning Luna".A voice said startling her. The omega jumped from fright and held onto her chest, she turned to see a young girl no more than nineteen years looking back at her smiling. " Oh goddess, you scared me". " I'm sorry Luna, the alpha asked me to get you for breakfast". Zandia smiled at the girl shyness. " That's okay, I'm glad you're here, to be honest i was lost ".  " Right this way then Luna". 

" Please call me Zandia, or Dia, which ever one you like". the girl smiled back at her and introduced herself" Okay Dia, I'm Elizabeth". The two walked to the kitchen chatting up a storm, but Zandia face fell when she reached the kitchen and realize there was no Ares. " Liz, where is your alpha"?

" sorry about that Dia he's in his office, The alpha has been busy all morning". the place became quit and everyone was looking at Elizabeth as if she grew a second head. " Okay, Liz could i have two plates please". Elizabeth pass the plates to the Luna and watch as the Luna loaded toasts, eggs, bacons, and fruits onto them, she then made coffee for herself and her alpha." Liz can you please give me a hand"? 

Zandia knocked at the wooden door Elizabeth pointed out as the alpha's office and a stern deep voice reply for them to enter.

"Your breakfast alpha". Zandia place the plate down in front of her mate with his cup of coffee just the way he like it. " Thank you my love". The alpha replied and Zandia blush grew red. She then turn to Liz and thanked her for helping her getting to the alpha's office. They both ate their breakfast in total silent with only the sound of the metal utensil scraping at the plate, occasionally they would glance at each other and smile. 

" So what can I assist with today Mr. Carter". The alphas demeanour faltered at his mate's words. 

" Just sit there so i can occasionally look at you, it brightens my mood". The omega's cheek were now red as a tomato. 

" Well as long as I'm of some help to you". 

Their eyes held each others gaze into place, they  both were deeply mesmerizer about each other, the bond was strong, the affection and lust was there no doubt. Just as they were about to kiss, Matt barged in unannounced. The situation filled the room with awkwardness and  anger.

 " Get out"!!Ares shout at his beta, and Zandia held her head down afraid to look up at Matt who was standing there with a grin plaster across his face. 

 "What do you want Matt" Ares asked.

"Lucas Norwich is at our borders, you didn't tell me you were expecting him". 

" I wasn't, but let him In, I'm curious as to what he wants".

"Okay Ares, you're the boss". Matt left to go get Lucas. "Say it" the alpha said to his mate. "What"? 

" I see it in your eyes you want to say something, so say it". Zandia shook her shoulders and walked  behind his desk she hugged him and the alpha was taken off guard.  "What was that for". 

"I just want you to know that I trust you and your judgment,not just as my boss but as my mate"  Ares couldn't believe what he was hearing, he knew he was breaking down the walls she has build up but he never thought he would hear her say this so soon. So the alpha did something he wanted to do for quite some time now he kissed her and the omega didn't resist infact she deepened the kiss. 

Ares door flew open by the narcissistic yet very handsome Lucas Norwich. The alpha growled and Lucas laughed a menacing laugh.

 "Alpha Carter, Zandia I hope I'm not interrupting".
