The party was in full swing, everyone was enjoying them self when Ares interrupt, his pack members acknowledge their alpha with such pride and honor, but not everyone within the mass of people shared the same sentiments, there was that one person who had vile intent towards the alpha. " Good evening everyone, You're all looking good this evening, especially you Cain. everyone chuckled at the alpha's word. No seriously Cain i was a bit worried but you managed to pull it off this evening, thanks man". 

"Right back at you alpha". Cain said, and everyone laughed, including the alpha's mate. " Thank you Cain. See, everyone i have something to announce this evening. the alpha paused for a short while and admire his beautiful woman, whispers could be heard throughout the crowd of people gathered. I've found my mate everyone, I've found our Luna". The whispers got more and more, people asking questions, like if the Luna was pretty and who was she. Congratulations was heard coming from the pack members, they all cheered for their alpha." It's about damn time". A pack warrior said. "Yeah, about time alpha". another said. " We're proud of you alpha". another pack member said. 

" When do we get to meet the lucky lady alpha". Jason the pack gamma asked. 

" Well Jason, I believe you've already met my beloved". The alpha stretched out his hand and the omega took it, he held onto her as they made their way to stood in front the mass amount of people gathered. " Please everyone, meet Zandia Avangrid, My mate and your Luna". Zandia stood there looking at the pack she would have to be there for, the pack she would defend with her life. all their faces reminded her of her number one task freedom, but in that moment being Luna felt good, it felt right, she felt at home. " Wow our Luna is beautiful". A petite frame girl said a loud. many whispers of how beautiful she look, was heard. 

" Thank you, I didn't really prepare to say much, but  do hope i will get the opportunity to know you all, i will protect and defend the pack, i will be just and i will also support our alpha in whatever way there is. please take good care of me as well". the pack cheered and clapped for their Luna.

The rest of party Zandia mingled and got to meet some of the women of  the pack one of which she knew she would become good friend with, Her name is Maria, she was the mate of the delta of the pack Marcus, who was on patrol with a few more pack members. " I'm so happy for the alpha, he went out and snag himself a beauty". Maria said and she and Zandia laughed. " Well to tell you the truth, i too believe the alpha is very lucky to have me as his mate". both women laughed but their moment was cut short by an unwelcome visitor. his name Mr. Norwich. " Hello ladies". Omegas are very sensitive creatures, they were blessed with the ability to sense emotions even though some like Zandia felt it was more of a curse than a blessing, But Maria  who is also an omega saw it as a gift from the Goddess, and she sense the malicious intent radiating from the man. " Good evening Mr. Norwich". the man interrupt the Omega to correct her on her formalities. 

" Please Zandia, call me Lucas, Mr Norwich sounds very much like my father, And we're the same age of twenty three years ". Zandia smiled and tried her best to compose her true feeling of the man, she didn't like him much, he kept asking various questions about her and he knew her age, even though it is on her file at the company, she didn't even told her mate that information, so how did this man knew her age, Maria felt her Luna uneasiness and stepped in. " Hi Lucas". " Mr. Norwich, for you". i retorted it so quickly the omega had to laugh. " Okay Mr. Norwich, May I". And the man who is an alpha looked down at the woman who was touching his clothes all over, it was a silly attempt but Zandia managed to slip away. " Stop touching me, aren't you mated, you sure smell like it". Maria rolled her eyes at the rude man. " Pssh, don't even go there knot head, you made my friend uncomfortable, that was a distraction for her to slip away from you, stay away from my Luna". 

The alpha laughed at Maria attempt to scare him off. " Was that suppose to scare me pup. I don't want to harm Zandia, you don't need to worry". " Oh, yeah it's Luna, remember that when talking to her". Maria walked away to go find her friend, who was wrapped up into her alpha's arm, chatting and giggling with Matt. " Are these two goofs bothering you friend". The alpha and Matt turned to see Maria smiling a Cheshire cat smile. " What's got you so happy". Matt asked.

 " Remember when we were younger, we all dream of finding our mates, but we all did except Ares, but now we all have our mate, it's just a happy moment, now i can look forward to the Luna giving me some nieces and nephews". Matt bust out laughing while Ares and Zandia stood there red as a tomato .

As they lay entwined in bed for the first time, she asked her alpha a single burning question: whether he knew Lucas the alpha looked at her and she corrected herself." Sorry Mr. Norwich". but the alpha still had a confused look on his face. " Is everything okay, alpha".

" Yes, it's just that you called him Lucas, do you know him". The omega shook her head no. " I don't but he insisted i call him Lucas, it was strange but i get the feeling he is a bad man". the alpha sighed and hugged his mate to him, " You don't need to worry about Lucas, and to answer your question, Lucas is a very bad man, but i doubt he would ever think of crossing me in anyway" he kissed her head And with that, she fell into a deep sleep surrounded by her alphas intoxicated scent.
