"Ta'da!" The makeup artist said as I opened my eyes. I looked in the mirror and admired her work. She had done an amazing job. Shd had given me a black and gold smokey eye. My eyes were lined in black and it made mt gold eyes stand out even more. She had done a little contouring, making my cheekbones pop. I looked photo worthy and thanked her for doing such a great job.
"I love it. Thank you." I said, getting up. She handed me back my foundation and concealer and I put them away before heading to the dining room where the other ladies were waiting. Lauren's hair was still being done.
"Oh, my turn!" Said Debra, heading back to the pink room to get her makeup started.
"Wow, Lace. You look so beautiful. The heavy eye liner makes you look even more exotic." Carrie said. I bit my tongue.
