Chapter 44

1107 Words

I stood there in disbelief, unsure of what to do. Jon's wolf stood there, not moving. Then I heard a whine and Jon let out a long, mournful sounding, howl. I felt like I was in a nightmare. Nearly being killed and then watching as Jon was forced to kill his own Father. I was starting to wish Jon hadn't saved me. I would literally die to save him the pain he was feeling.  I watched as Jon shifted back and then fell to his knees, burying his head in hands. I heard him sob and my heart broke for him. I didn't even care that I was in nothing but a blanket. All I wanted was to comfort Jon. I finally left my little shelter inside the house and went to Jon. His shoulders were shaking when I reached him. He was crying. I felt so bad that it had come to this.  "Jon…" I said, reaching out to him.
