The week had flown by I had avoided anything to do with Ashton and o had done it successfully unfortunately his friends didn’t seem to have the same opinions as him though I had told him I wouldn’t entertain being friends with anyone of his there was one that didn’t seem to care if he was offending his friends or not; Bryce.
It was now Saturday and I was sitting around until I had to meet my friends, this gut can’t seriously take no for an answer so I just gave up. I had no idea where my brother was nor did care I was still angry at him for what he had said to me over a week ago and I don’t even think I ever would.
Bryce had come around to keep me company. I told him there was no need because I was meeting up with my friends but he was having none of it, so I sighed and gave in.
We were thrashing each other on the ps4 he reckoned could beat me at wrestling he sure had a shock coming.
He’d been here a few hours when the door opened. “Hey the guys are here hope you don’t mind? Ash was looking for Bryce as we were all supposed to be heading to his so I invited them in.”
I looked at Bryce and he shrugged his shoulders. I think he intentionally forgot so he could spend time here. They all stalked in closing the door. “Why the hell are you here Bryce? We were supposed to be at yours this weekend.”
“Sorry. Forgot.”
Lies.
“Bull Crap Bryce you never forget.”
“Chill Ash we can do it here.”
“Whatever.” He mumbled.
They all made their way over sitting down. “So what ya playin?”
“WWE 2k20.”
“Cool let’s have a go I’ll whoop your ass.”
They all laughed.
“I’ll leave you guys to it.” I said standing up. Walking away.
“Scared we’ll thrash you Little Miss Perfect?”
Hell no. I tuned angrily. “For your information Mr. Jerk I’m going out with my friends, my real friends, so spin on it.”
“ Oooh.” His friends said in unison.’
‘Whatever. I bet you have no friends.’
“I have plenty and I have better places to be than be here with a jerk like you.” True.
Though it was a little early to meet them I just wanted to get the hell out of here and away from that jerk before I said or did something I would regret.
“Well enjoy your day, Little Miss Perfect.”
“Oh I will Mr. Jerk face.” I smirked looking over at Bryce. “Thanks for keeping me company till I had to go out. It was fun.”
“Anytime Courtney.”
I smiled walking out, slamming the door behind me.
Bryce
“What the hell Ash? She was in a good mood till you decided to turn up.”
“If you had stuck to our original plan we wouldn’t be here, and we’d be at yours where she isn’t.”
“We are, and stop talking about her like she’s something you just scraped off your shoe.”
He sneered at me but dropped it. I couldn’t understand his hate for Courtney. I could tell he liked her so why was he treating her like vermin?
“Let’s just forget about little Miss perfect and choose a game, so I can thrash you.”
I smirked. “Game on.” I said though I was still mad at him, for the way he trashed Courtney. She was a nice kid and if he just got to know her he'd see it too.
Tucker pulled out a racing game so we could race against one another down to the final two then the winner would take the title and the loser would get food.

I finally got to the shopping center after I’d spent almost an hour in the park calming myself down enough to meet my friends; Simone, Eva, Aria, Isaac, Jayden and Theo
were waiting at the entrance talking and laughing. Simone looked over, she smiled and waved. I returned her smile waving, making my way over to them. They all looked over smiling. “There’s my girl.” They all hugged me one after another.
Issac dropped his arm over my shoulders. “Let’s go shopping kitten.”
“Isaac!” Simone said, glaring at him
“Let’s go guys you can argue later.”
“Sure.”
We all walked into the shopping centre, walking around chatting, cracking jokes and laughing. It made me realise just how much I missed home. I really liked these guys. They were like the friends I had left behind and I was glad to call them my friends.
“Hey, you okay?” Simone asked concerned.
“Yeah I’m fine.”
She smiled at me, I returned her smile. Issac still as his arm over my shoulder he squeezed it and smiled. I smiled nervously. This guy liked to flirt and it was mainly aimed at me.
We all decided to grab something to eat before heading home.
We all walked towards mine. Issac hadn’t taken his arm from around me once well only once when we all separated to go to the bathroom to relieve ourselves then it was back over my shoulders. Possessive much.
My so-called brother and his friends were outside tackling one another, boys. He locked up so did they. “So you weren’t lying, you do have friends?”
Asshole.
“It apparently seems so.” I sneered.
“Hey I’m Tucker Courtney’s older brother.’”He smiled.
“Mmm.” Simone said.
“And who are you?”
“Tucker don’t be so rude.”
“She was first.”
“And she’s my friend and happens to have a name.”
“So what’s her name?” He sneered.
God I’m so sick of his s**t.
“Her name is Simone and these are my other friends. Eva, Aria, Isaac, Jayden and Theo.”
He nodded. “Nice to meet you.”
“You too.”
They all shuck hands apart from him and Simone who were having some kind of standoff.
“And these are his friends; Bryce, Jesse, Dawson and Ashton but I guess you guys already knew them.”
“We do.”
“We best be going Courtney.”
“Sure.”
“I’ll see you at school kitten.” Issac said kissing my forehead before taking his arm from off my shoulders. Whispering in my ear. “If any of them give you grief let me know I can kick the hell out of them.”
I nodded.
Simone scowled at Isaac. “We’ll see you at school Monday.”
“Sure.”
They all smiled walking away.
“So is he your boyfriend?” Ashton asked
“Are you jealous?”
“No.”
“Much.” I said, walking away.
I went to my room laying down to listen to my music.
The door opened. I looked up. “What do you want Tucker?”
“I don’t like your friends.”
“Tough I like them.”
“I don’t want you hanging out with them.”
“Tough. I don’t like Aston, but you still hang with him so deal with it.”
“Whatever Courtney, just don’t come crying to me when they backstab you.”
“Like you, you mean?”
“I said I was sorry, what more do you want?”
“You to leave me the hell alone. You stopped any right you had to interfere in my life when you called me a leech, so just go running back to your friends and leave me the hell alone.”
“Sure whatever, but don’t say I didn’t warn you. I don’t like your friends and they will backstab you.”
“Whatever, can you get out of my room.”
“Fine don’t say I didn’t warn you.” He said storming out of my room.
“Your brother’s right you know.”
“Get lost Bryce.”
“And I thought we were friends.”
“We are. But I’d appreciate it if you didn’t bag my friends down when I don’t bag yours down.”
“True.” He said before jumping on the bed. “So are you and that Issac guy, you know?”
“Jealous much.”
“So. I’m your friend Courtney. I don’t want to see you hurt.”
“And I won’t, we’re just friends like me and you are.”
He smiled. “Good.”
