REVENGE PART 1

997 Words
Courtney The day had been pretty quiet so far but we all knew there was a s**t storm brewing and it would come crashing down as soon as whatever plan Ashton was going to come up with to take my friends away from me was. We'd all discussed it in great detail once Isaac was not grounded. We'd met up on the Sunday before school began on Monday and all agreed about whatever he had planned. We'd make sure he thought he was winning the battle and think he could turn all my friends against me and hate me. We had no idea what lengths he would even go to to make it happen, but we were all ready. Let's just hope we are ready enough. We weren't even sure which friend he would hit with his s**t first, but we were ready. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened so far, but there was time, there was always a time when it was Ashton Barraman. He was a calculating asshole, one that didn't like being told no, or the one that didn't like the truth. I saw the look in his eyes when I said what I had said. It cut and it cut deep. We all walked into the dining hall for lunch. He looked up and our eyes met. Chills went through my body as he grinned evilly and slid his finger across his throat. I gulped loudly. "Come on Courtney, don't let him get to you. We gave this." I nodded at Simone. I sure hoped so. Issac slipped his arm around my waist, talking into my ear. "It's okay, kitten calm down, he won't hurt you. He can't hurt you. He could try but he wouldn't. We won't let him." I nodded as he kissed my cheek. I sure hope he meant it or I'd be left with nothing; no friends, no him, no school, just nothing. We all got our lunch sitting down. I felt easy all lunch; it felt like his eyes were burning holes through me. "It's okay kitten, he can't do anything to you." But he already was. He was playing mind games. Bryce Something felt off today. Ashton had barely said two words to all of us. I could understand why he was giving Tucker and I the cold shoulder, but the other guys didn't deserve it. I watched him through lunch. He was watching Courtney glaring evil at her. She hadn't told us what had conspired between the two of them, but it had to be for him to act like a complete prick towards her. Well, he always had, but this was way worse. If looks could kill, they would've. Tucker had noticed his offstandish mood too, which wasn't good. Ashton had it in for Courtney and he wasn't going to stop until he destroyed what he'd done, but could we stop what was going to happen? We had to try. Simone Courtney had been shaken since lunch and I couldn't blame her. We all knew what Barraman was capable of. He'd been bullying her for years and that jerk of a brother of hers had let him. He'd chosen his side and I'd be damned if I was going to let that prick bully her anymore. We all knew what was coming and we were all ready for it. Well, we thought we were until we entered the last class and there were photos taped to the desks. We looked at each other. It was time, time to act and make it look good. We all walked over to the desks. That's when I really noticed the photos were pinned to my desk. I looked closely and I gulped back. How the f**k had he managed to take these? All the pictures were of me and Jayden. In my home, we were in the basement playing pool. It was just us two. They had other plans: Courtney was doing her homework, Ava was out with her family and Isaac was grounded because of his suspension. I only confided in Courtney what had happened that day. No one else knew. But these photos had taken it all out of proportion. He was making sure everyone knew about me and Jayden. Making her lose two of her friends instantly. We had no interest in one another but the photos made it look like we had. It was a bet, a stupid bet. You could call it a dare even. I'd lost. I had to make out with him or vice versa, but he had to be my slave for a week. I'd course I lost. That's when we had made out. How the f**k did he even get these f*****g pictures when we were alone? Was there a hidden camera in there? I looked at Courtney angrily. "Did you tell anyone?" "N..no.." "Did you mention to anyone about me and Jayden being alone?" "N..no." "Don't lie, Courtney. " "I may have mentioned it to Issac, over the phone. It was no big deal. He said he wished he could be there and wished we could all be together." "Was Bareaman at your house?" "He was downstairs with Tucker." She paused for thought. "Fuck." "I can't believe you, Courtney, I trusted you." "You still can." "Don't just f*****g don't. I can't even look at you right now." I turned and sat down. "I can't believe you, Courtney, call yourself a friend " Jayden huffed, sitting down. "I'm sorry." She sniffled. "It's okay, kitten." "Shut the f**k up Isaac, it's far from okay." I could hear her crying. God, I felt like such a b***h. Jayden squeezed my hand. "It's going to be okay, Sim. It will all work out okay." He smiled. I flashed him a quick smile. I sure hoped it would be. First, when I get home I'm looking for a hidden camera. I don't think Ace will be too pleased if he finds any.
