Ace
"Hey sis, what are you doing here?"
She jumped literally ten feet in the air and I chuckled. I'd never seen Simone look so s**t scared in her life. "Oh, I, erm."
"Why are you in here, Sis? You don't usually come down here unless you're with your friends so tell me what's going on. I can help."
"I.." She said, stumbling over her words. "Something happened a few weeks back between me and Jayden."
"Mmh mmh." I knew exactly where this was going. Jayden's a little s**t and he likes placing bets or dares when they all okay snooker in here. I've seen it oh so many times before and it never ends well.
"I lost and just had to kiss him "
I burst out laughing at the thought of those two together and in those circumstances made me want to howl in laughter.
"It's not funny Ace."
"It is. You and Jay Jay kissing. Whose stupid idea was that? Don't tell me. He's a complete idiot." I said in-between laughs.
"We were being watched Ace. It's not funny!"
I suddenly stopped laughing. No it wasn't this was my chill out room and I wanted to know who didn't understand the meaning of privacy and personal boundaries?
"Who did it Sim?"
"Isn't it obvious Ace? Barraman did it. He f'n hates Courtney and wants to get rid of her. This is just the beginning."
Well s**t. I wondered if Lawrence had any ideas what his little brother was up to?
"Okay we need to do a full sweep of this room and see if we can find any cameras or anything that suggests someone planted them here."
She nodded and we got on with the search. I'll kill that little bastard if he's planted any cameras in my chill out room.
We continued looking for almost an hour when we found the cameras that were that tiny. I'm surprised that we even found them.
That little s**t was going to get what's coming to him for crossing me.
"What are we going to do Ace?"
"Leave it to me the little fucker to me for noe let's see what's in these and let's just hope they haven't been wiped."
She nodded and we went upstairs to my computer room. I turned my Laptop on and waited for it to boot up and logged in. I ran both the camera and recorder through the USB to get all the s**t that was stored on it off. I couldn't gekeige the dumb s**t left it on without either incrypting it or puttinv a virus in it. He could've just simply wiped it off. But Barraman is a dumb s**t.
Once it was all downloaded me and simone looked through it all l. There was a lot if s**t on them. The kids weren't only photographed, it was taped too. Just like everything else that happened in there.
"Oh my god Ace that's disgusting you had a room for that" Simone gagged.
I'm going to kill that little fucker.
"Call your friends, let them know what's going on and I'll call Lawrence."
"What are you going to do?"
"This means war sis, no one and I mean no one invades my personal space and gets away from it. And for your information we didn’t f**k in there."
"I don't want to know your personal business Ace. It's your room but on the Snooker table ewe."
I grinned. What can I say? I was honey. If only she knew what I did in here. She wouldn't be in here. "Go call your friends. Once it's time we're going to hit that son of a b***h where it hurts."
She nodded and walked out.
I tapped on Lawrence's number.
"Hey Ace, what do I owe the pleasure"
"We have a situation."
"Please don't tell me this has to do with my brother's vendetta against Courtney."
"It does but I'm not going to ask you how you know I'm just going to let you know what that little s**t has done before I obliterate him."
He groaned. "What did that little s**t do now?"
"He put cameras up in my f*****g snooker room! The only place I can fuckin chill once the day is over. The little fucker put two cameras up in there one normal and one video. There are photos of my sister and Jayden as well as a video. I have no idea what he is going to do with them. But he also videoed me and Lacey. In a.." I coughed. "In a not so compromising position. I don't think that your brother understands privacy and personal boundaries and he's overstepped both."
I could hear him chuckling. "You seriously took your bed buddy into the Snooker room."
"I didn't think there would be a f*****g camera in there watching us."
He continued chuckling.
"It's not fuckin funny Lawrence, my sister saw it. What if your brother did it to you!"
He stopped chuckling.
"Not so funny now is it?"
"No it's not." He paused. "So what's the plan?"
"I want his head on a stick. But first I want revenge. I think he's up to something Lawrence and it's bad if my sister is looking like a fish out of water it's bad."
"So what are you suggesting Ace? That we play him at his own game,"
"That's exactly what I'm suggesting. "
"He's at school all day tomorrow do come over and we'll do what we know how to do best we get even."
"Thanks Lawrence I owe you."
"No you don't."
"Surd whatever. I'll see you tomorrow around ten."
"Will do.”
I hung up. I just hope Simone can get her friends onside cause once I'm finished with him he won't know what's hit him.
Simone
I added everyone into a group call to update them on what's been happening with the Barraman situation and how he'd got the photos of me and Jayden. It was obvious to everyone it was his plan from the beginning that he was taking Courtney's friends off her one by one so she would be left with no-one and she'd have no other choice but to leave school and start somewhere new.
I had apologised to her for what I had accused her of. This was planned way ahead of me telling her what had happened between me and Jayden. She told me if it was okay as she thought it was part of the act so we kept it that way.
I had warned the others to be on their guard as Barraman may have planted cameras at their homes too.
Now all we had to do was wait for the next move.
"Did you calm your friends?"
"Yeah. They're going to search their rooms too."
He nodded.
"What's going on sis? We all know Ashton and we all know he doesn't play fair. But, it's never gone this far, so what has changed for him to act so much of a prick?"
I swallowed. I knew this conversation was coming after I told him about the cameras. "I'm not entirely sure, Ace, but what I do know. His hatred has never gone away for Courtney; it just got worse.
No one knows what happened between her and Ashton but one day she turned up at school looking different and totally badass as if she was trying to prove her point to him that she wasn't who he thought she was. It started a whole ruckus of events getting him and Issac suspended.
When they returned that's when it all started. The photos were pinned to the desk of me and Jayden. Then I snapped, Courtney was the only one I told.
"But she didn’t say s**t. You saw the video recording sis. He planted them there."
"How was it even possible?"
"I don't know sis but I'm sure as hell going to find out. Mom had a video thing on the inside of the house. She's had it for a month now to make sure she knows who is at the door when she's out."
"So you think he came when neither of us were in?"
"I do, but the question is how thr f**k did he get in?"
That's the question indeed.
"Leave it to me sis. I'll sort that little s**t out. Just make sure you and your friends are okay."
"We will be. We've got our own agenda for that prick."
He smiled, messing up my hair. "My little sis is growing up."
"Shut up."
"You love me really."
"Whatever!"
He grinned, bringing me in for a bear hug. "You love me really."
"Sure whatever floats your boat."
He laughed, hugging me tighter. "Just be careful sis. We all know batramsn had a screw loose who knows what he will do next."
"I will. You better too."
"I always do sis."
