Courtney
I couldn't believe Tucker, how dare he! He has no right to tell me who I can and can not date!
He's the one who decided to stick by Barraman, the guy who has had a grudge against me since the day we moved here.
How dare he!
He has no right, no right at all.
I slammed my bedroom door in frustration. Who the hell does he think he is?!
Oh, I forgot he's my older brother. By a year! A goddamn year!
How dare he! He knew everything that Barraman had put me through, yet he still hangs around with the prick! He has no morals or family values.
Family is supposed to stick by family, but that's a joke where Tucket I'd concerned. Maybe I'm still that leech he thinks I am.
No, I haven't forgotten, I just chose to forgive. Now I think I made the worst mistake of my life cause he always chooses his friends over me! His own flesh and blood.
Bryce is no better, but he can be excused a little more than Tucker because they were friends before we moved here. He tries his hardest, but his loyalty lies with his best friend, not me. Tucker, on the other hand, is inexcusable.
He can keep his friends, but I can't keep mine! Screw him.
I'll date whomever I like, be friends with whoever I like.
I'd show him the biggest FU ever. That will float his boat in the other direction, knowing he can't get one by me.
A soft knock came at my door.
"Court. "
"Go away Bryce, I'm not in the mood for you, and especially not for Tucker."
"Please Court, he's just concerned about you making a big mistake. "
"Well I'm not."
"You should be after what he did to you.'
Now I've heard it all. Now I'm pissed. "What he did to me! What he did to me isn't as bad as what Barraman did and is still doing. He at least apologised and we moved on from it, unlike Barraman."
"Please, Court. Look at it from our point of view."
"Your point of view?!"
"Tucker's point of view."
"Screw you Bryce, screw the both of you! You're the biggest players in our school. Yet no know says s**t to you so news flash I don't care what you have to say this is my life not yours."
"Don't use curse words. Court it doesn't suit you."
"Screw you, screw all of you left me today hell alone and tell Tucker the same."
"Court please."
"Leave me alone Bryce, go and find one of your sluts and leave me the hell alone!"
I heard a sigh before I heard his heavy trainers thud away from my door. Good.
I'm so angry right now.

It took me two hours to calm Courtney down last night after she had a run in with her brother and so-called friend. I had a feeling this would happen. I'm so proud of my kitten for standing up to them. Quite frankly. They had it coming to them.
I looked up as she rented the school. Her frown soon turned into a Cheshire when she saw me. Her smile was always the highlight of my day.
I hugged her and swung her around as she held tightly onto me. I stopped pressing my lips to hers and kissing her. She returned the kiss, kissing me deeply. I could get used to this.
I pulled away. "I could get used to this."
She smiled.
"I see you're in a better mood this morning, kitten?'
"Only because I saw you."
I smiled. "So they led you alone?'
"Yeah, eventually Bryce tried again before he headed home and Tucker, before bed, I showed him the hand."
I smirked. "Come on, let's go and meet the others."
She nodded and I laced my fingers with hers before we walked into school to meet our friends. Courtney had them catch up with "the life of Courtney." No pun intended.
We all parted ways for registration and lessons and met up during break.
As I walked down the corridor to meet Courtney and the others for lunch, I got rammed into one of the lockets. I looked up at the dumb ass who thought it was clever to do so and I found an angry Tucker staring right into my eyes.
"I wondered how long it would take you!" I said, emotionless.
"Stay away from my sister!"
"Not happening."
"Don't you think you've caused her enough pain?"
"I'm not Barraman douche. And the rest was in the past, stays in the past because you know I never meant to hurt her intentionally, unlike you or Barraman."
He looked confusingly at me.
"I heard what you called her asshole . She's your sister yet you call her a lowlife name like that because of Barraman!"
"Who told you?"
"I have ears. The whole street would've heard how you were shouting at each other. You disgust me. So your younger sister, you're supposed to protect her."
"I am. From you."
"She doesn't need protection from me, she needs protection from Barraman and his hatred of her before you lose her for good this time!"
He let go of me. He bowed his head down in shame, but would he change anything? I doubt it very much, so it will be up to me to save her.
He sighed. "Fine. You can date my sister, but if you hurt her once, I will hunt you down."
"I won't." I replied, walking away saying that douche wasn't worth my time.
I met Courtney and my friends in the cafeteria getting my lunch. Getting bombarded with questions as soon as I sat down as to why I was late. God, I hate explaining.
Once I was done, Courtney had a passive face on her and she looked beyond pleased. I hate to be in their shoes when she blows a gasket. I placed my arms around her, kissing her forehead. "It's okay court, it's over and done with."
"Oh it will be."
We all looked at each other.
Oh s**t, this wasn't going to be good.
