Issac
Saturday had finally arrived, me and Courtney had text throughout the week cause I was bored and she was coming over to give me my homework. Three more weeks and I’d be back to school and hopefully that jerk keeps out of my way. I didn’t need to be suspended again for that i***t.
I really liked Courtney. Maybe one day when we are old enough I will ask her to be my girl. She’s bright, gorgeous and has a heart of gold. I know I take things a little too far but I blame my older brother for that he’s in college, I saw him with multiple girls and I hope I never grow up to be like him I’d hang myself first he is a true bad boy at heart he plays with girls hearts to get what he wants. I don’t want that I want one girl to make me happy and I hope Courtney will eventually be that girl.
The knock at the door brings me out of my thoughts. I pull myself up off the sofa and go to answer the door. I unlock it, opening it to a smiling Courtney. I return her smile I could look at her smiling all day everyday. She's so perfect I can’t understand why Ashton has to always target her. “Come in kitten.”
She smiles, stepping in. I close the door behind her. “I’ve already got refreshments and a jug of juice so make yourself at home.”
“Thanks Isaac.”
“My pleasure kitten.” I smile.
She slips her cost off and hangs it up before heading over to the sofa bag in hand. She drops her bag on the floor and sits gracefully down, I try and hide my smile but fail. I strode over to her sitting next to her. “So what was shook like without me?” I ask, grinning.
“Boring.”
“And why’s that kitten?”
“I had no one making flirtatious cracks.”
“Such big words.”
“Look in the dictionary.”
I grinned. “I don’t need one. I have my own. It's called Isaac’s new English flirt dictionary.” I grinned. “It has every word you need to know to flirt with a girl without them even knowing it!”
She laughed, punching me playfully. “You’re funny I missed that all is just too boring without it.”
“I missed you too kitten.”
She looked at me with her big doe eyes confused. “You spoke to me all week.”
“Those were just text kitten. Not the real thing, I’m glad you came over today.”
“Me to. Shall we start?”
“Sure them once we’re done we can see some fun!” I said, wiggling my eyebrows.
She slapped me playfully on the. Arm theming not to laugh and failing miserably. I always enjoyed her company. She was funny. I was glad Simone had introduced her to our group. She was a breast of fresh air, pity nine of those jerks could see it.
She pulled out her books and I grabbed mine. We worked through all of our homework. The guys had come over in the week to help me with the me and the guys were hanging out tomorrow just the lad no girls we were going to the basketball court to shoot some hoops. My mom had warned me I had to finish all of my homework before I went out with my friends so I obeys I didn’t need o get in my moms bad books I think the guys had split all the homework between them our school wasn’t like any other primary We had set lessons in set rooms which was a great help to those who struggled with different subject like me. Courtney was an Angel. She had explained most of the homework as we went along. I was so glad I had her today. We’d gone through most of the snacks and juice. We’d finally finished our home work. “So would you like to watch a movie or go on the Xbox?”
“Either you choose. Can I use your bathroom?”
“Sure it’s at the top of the stairs.”
‘Thanks.’ She said standing up. “I’ll be right back.”
“I’ll be here.” I smirked.
She smiled and left the room as I decided what we were doing next.
She walked back into the living room. I smiled and she sat down. “So, what are we doing?”
“First a movie then we’ll go on the Xbox, sound good?”
“Yeah that's great.”
I smiled. I really liked to spend time with her. I’d never get bored of it.
We sat back getting comfy watching a comedy that had us both in stitches. I could feel her laughter ruin as she’s on my shoulder. I smiled at her. This was perfect, but I had to wait a few years before I could officially ask her out.
“Well well well what do we have here?”
We both shot up looking at the tall muscular male in front of us, his dark hair hung off his face in curls god I hated this jerk he'd ruin everything for me in an ear shot. “Brendon.” Said through gritted teeth.
“So Issac aren’t you going to introduce me to your little girlfriend?”
“I’m not.”
&She’s not.” We answered simultaneously.
‘Whatever.’ He looked at Courtney waiting for me to tell him who she was. “This is Courtney.”
“Nice to meet you Courtney. I'm Brendan, Isaac’s older brother.”
“It’s nice to meet you too.” She replied nervously.
He smiled. “I’ll leave you to do whatever it was you were doing.” He looked at the stick behind him. “Come on babe let’s go to my room.”
She smiled and he walked over to her taking her hand leading her out of the living area up to his room, I cringed.
“I’m sorry about him Courtney, he wasn’t supposed to come home today.”
“That’s okay.”
She sat quietly.
“Are you okay Courtney.”
“He’s a little I’m not sure I like him.”
“He’s a little bold kitten. A lot of people don’t like him, me included.”
“You don’t like your own brother?”
“You don’t either.”
She gasped.
Oh crap that wasn’t meant to come out. “I’m sorry kitten I..”
“It okay can we just forget it okay.”
“Yeah sure let’s just watch the movie and have some fun okay kitten?”
She smiled. “Okay.”
I placed my arm over the back of the sofa pulling her towards me. “Get comfy kitten.”
She nodded and lay her head on my shoulder.
“I don’t with you to think any less of my cause of my brother.” I Suddenly said.
“l won’t.”
I smiled.
“My brother called me a leech.” She suddenly blurted out,
“I’m sorry kitten no one deserves that.”
“I trusted him Isaac he was my big brother he told me he’d always be there for me and a few hours with that he Ashton it had all turned around.”
‘Is that what the argument was about last weekend?”
“You heard?”
“I wasn’t that far away. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to be nosy but you guys were shouting really loud.”
‘It’s okay.’ She sighed. “He wants me to forgive him.”
“And will you?”
“No well not year anyway he hurt my feelings Issac he sided with a guy he barely knew, a guy who brainwashed him into believing that I was in the way and he needed to dispose of me to make friends.”
“I’m sorry kitten. He’s dumb he doesn’t deserve and angel as you as his sister, but I’m the end it will always be uo to you to wheather you forgive him or not.”
“I know. Can we just watch the end of the film?”
I smiled. “Sure.”
We continued to watch the film with tears tuning down our faces. “God I’ve never laughed so much.”
“Me neither.”
“Up for a couple of rounds of boxing or racing?”
“Either you choose.”
I smiled.
Brandon walked smugly in leaning over the sofa. “What ya playing?”
We ignored him. He sat in between us. “This game is my favourite.”
“Where’s the girl?” I asked.
“Oh Charlotte, or something she went home.”
No surprise he can’t even remember her name.
I got knocked out. “Thanks Bran.”
“My pleasure, let me go up against your girl - friend.”
“I already told you she’s my friend.”
“What- ever.”
I passed him the controller.
He loked at Courtney with a sparkle in his eye s**t he was going to cheat. “Be prepared little girl.”
She scowled at him.
They were both aggressively into the game. “Your pretty good little girl.”
“Thanks.” She said coldly.
‘But not that good.’
He uppercut and took a few more blows ans her fighter was down. She scowled at him. “You cheated!”
“You’ve just gotta know how to play little girl.”
She stood up aggressively staring daggers at him. “Oh I know how to play very well. You’re a cheat.” She said throwing down the remote.
She looked at me. “I’m going home now Issac I don’t need to be round those that don’t game properly.”
“Sure I’ll let you out.” I said, before standing up.
She smiled and followed me out of the room. I opened the door to let her out. “I’m sorry about my brother. He doesn't like to lose.”
“There’s no reason to cheat Issac.”
“I know it that’s all he knows.”
“I’ll see in the week okay.”
“Okay.”
“Bye Issac.”
“Bye kitten.”
She smiled and stepped out of the house. I watched her walk swat and closed the door.
“What's her problem anyway?”
I turned and scowled at my brother. “You, and having a jerk for a brother, so leave her alone.” I snapped walking away.
