Jet Wolfe I walked through the corridors. I see they half wit got crowned King bad boy. What a f'n joke. Just cause all of the girls are after him and hang around him and his friends like leapers doesn't mean he's got what it takes to be king. The only problem I have is that I was warned to stay away from Courtney this up and coming year. If I was to get crowded this year it would be because I had earned it and not because I had to help get there. I was grateful to Thomas's brother and the only regret I have is that I swore I wouldn't involve Courtney this year. She had a lot of brains, that kid. Plus, she hated Ashton Barraman as much as I did. I smirked. We would've made a great team if only her friends hadn't stuck their noses into business that didn't concern them. I understand her and Issac had hooked up and were extremely close and that was another reason I couldn't get her involved in my plot against Ashton Barraman. I turned the corner to hear what sounded like blackmail. I knew it was Ashton Barraman; he was good at blackmailing those around him. It sounded as if he was tormenting a girl. I listened carefully as I walked in their direction. "I hope you're not going to get any ideas about helping a certain someone out this year to get what's rightfully mine taken away again. "That's right, Miss. Perfect I know." I heard the girl gulp. "If I find out you helped Wolfe this year, I won't hesitate to turn you both in for exploitation. " "I'm not." "Good girl." I said, kissing her cheek. "You best stick to your word, Courtney, or else." He warned. Hell no he wasn't treating Courtney like a human trash can. I stormed over to them. "Leave her the hell alone, Barraman!" He looked over at me and smirked. My fists clenched. God I hated this f'n guy. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Wolfe. You are here to get little Miss Perfect to get you to go back to the position you lost?" "No I'm not." "So why the hell are you here Wolfe? can't you see I'm busy?" "Busy harassing year ten?" The head teacher won't be pleased to know that you're blackmailing another student, Barraman. I'd think very carefully before you throw any more innuendos at Courtney. " "Whatever Wolfe. It's just a friendly warning. If she tries to help you this year she won't know what's hit her. " "She's not helping me, Barraman. She has no need. Once everyone sees you for who you really are, you'll be stripped of your title, then it's everyone for themselves." "That's never going to happen." "Oh it will if you continue to hareas Courtney. " "Why you.." He said, storming forward. I looked at Courtney. "Leave, you don't want to see what I'm about to do to pretty boy, here." She nodded about to leave. "Don't move Courtney, I want you to see why I am king." He smirked. "Go find your friends, Courtney's lunch is almost over." She looks at both of us before sighing and leaving. He smirked before my flat connected with his face. God that felt good. Courtney I walked down the corridor wondering where my friends were. "There you are, kitten. We've been looking all over for you." Didn't look very far. I thought sarcastically. "Well I guess you found me." I gave a fake smile. Isaac dropped his arm over my shoulders. "So, where were you, Court?" Well, if you looked in the right place you would've known. "Asher thought it was funny to collar me. Then Jett Wolfe showed up. I left them to their little argument. Isaac clenched his fist. I guess I hit a sore spot. Good. It should be him rescuing me from Ash, not Wolf. "What was the argument about?" "The stupid king bad boy title. I left them to argue it out. I really don't want to talk about something as invalid as that." They nodded in agreement as the bell went off. Thank god they will drop it now. Well, so I thought. Issac gave me a migraine. I finally gave in and told him about the s**t show that happened at lunch and profusely apologised to me over and over again. "I'm sorry kitten, I should've been there." "Well you weren't. Could you please put a sock in it for Pete's sake!" I said, annoyed. "It should've been me, not him." "It doesn't matter, Issac, just drop it. It's over and done with." He smiled, placing his hand on my face. "I should be the one protecting you kitten, not some hyped-up bad boy." He said, crashing his lips on mine, kissing me fiercely.
