Ashton I smiled victoriously as I walked away knowing I'd got Courtney Mendez exactly where I wanted her. "What are you smiling at?" I look up and my smile falters terrific. "Bryce my man." He stressed at me furiously, what's his problem? "Well ? Why are you smiling? It could only mean one of two things: either you were making out with a hog chick, or you bumped into Courtney. I, for one, hope it is the first option, and not the second." "Let's just say no one will be taking my spot this year." He rolls his eyes. "Get over yourself Ash, it's only going to make you a bigger jerk than you already are. Look at how Wolfe turned out last year." "Well, that was him and not me. At least Little Miss. Perfect won't be helping him take it from me this year." "Please don't tell me you confronted Courtney?" I smirked. "Tucker won't like it. He already warned you to stay the hell away from her this year. Can't you just do what's right for once instead of going against your friend?" "Oh, I will. I know she is staying out of it this year." "Isaac won't let her interfere." "Of course he entered, he's like her f'n shadow. He's a jealous asshole that doesn't like talking to other guys that are in their 'click'. Like that guy at Ace's new year." "He was eye f'n her Ash. I'd be pissed off too, if she was my girl. He wasn't the only one Tucker wanted to break his face and I wouldn't blame him, he was five years older than her Ash. If she was my girl or even my sister, I would have knocked his block off but it wasn't my place to do so." "He's been here, you know." "Who, that Mouse i***t?" "Yeah. Every f'n day I don't think Tucker notices, or anyone else, for that fact. He was watching her for months, then he just disappeared." "Good kerl it to yourself we don't want tucker knowing he'll flip and it will scare the s**t out of Court." Don't worry, my lips are sealed. I don't want any polar ox that has too much drama." "Says the king boy king." He grins. I grinned widely. I know this year is going to be so much fun and I'll be on top with my friends all around me. Jet Wolfe I look at Courtney. She looks frazzled, almost like she isn't great at all. "Are you okay Courtney?" "I'm fine. You didn't have to step in. I could've handled him." "That maybe, but I owe you. You helped me get what I wanted last year and I'm grateful you didn't have to. You didn't know me yet, you helped me." "I wanted to wipe that permanent smirk off Asher's face." I laughed. "So did I. Pompous prick." "Anyway, I had nothing to do with it. You got what you wanted without my help." "Well, technically, you did. You talked to Thomas and he must've put in a good word for me," I said, winking. Then our conversation was ruined. Issac wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her protectively to him, kissing her cheek. Possessive asshole. "I've been looking for you kitten." "Welm you found me." He looked at me and snarled. "What the hell are you doing with Wolfe? I hope you're not intervening this year?" "No she's not. I was on my way to the cafeteria when I saw Barraman with her." "Are you okay kitten?" "I'm fine. He just thought he was the big I am demanding I keep out of him, keeping his title this year. I promised you and Tucker I would." So that's why she told him she wasn't having anything to do with it, interesting. He smiled, kissing her cheek. I almost gagged. "Come on kitten, everyone is waiting." "Okay." He led her away, looking at me. "Thanks man." "My pleasure." They walked away, his arm around her, holding her close to him. What was his problem? Did he think she would run? She deserves better than that prick, but who was I to judge my history with girls is diabolical. But, not as bad as Barraman and his friends. He deserves the title king bad boy cause he's had more girls than hot dinners. I walked away heading to the cafeteria to grab something quick to eat and drink before afternoon lessons.
