"Charlotte Anderson, you'd better explain why the hell you're in my bed!" Looking at the angry man in front of her, Charlotte suddenly had a brain fade. She found that his eyes were so grim that as if he wanted to skin her alive! Charlotte wasn't sure what was happening, and why she was in his bed... She looked around, realizing that she wasn't in her own room. Well, the dark blue sheets did look like his. After all, she had been in his room before. There were piles of clothes littered on the floor. Then, she noticed her own dress among them. Looking at her body, she immediately became dismayed, and her face instantly turned pale. "Please stop feigning innocence. The way you look at me is disgusting!" Gerald Miller pinched her chin, gazing at her indifferently, "Charlotte, how dare you dose me for s*x?!" "No, I didn't do it!" She retorted immediately. She hadn't done it. She certainly wouldn't admit it. What Gerald thought is not she cared. "I don't believe you." Gerald sneered. "I didn't do it. Without a word, he turned to the bathroom and began to shower. After Charlotte was sure he wouldn't come out for a while, she lifted the covers and stepped out of bed. But she didn't expect the embarrassing pain. Her movement strained the wound from last night... Looking at the bruises on her body, she cursed Gerald for being an animal! And he said he couldn't get an erection on me, liar! Charlotte thought to herself. After Charlotte returned to her room at Miller's house, she put on clean and neat clothes. She knew a lot of troubles were still waiting. Now she only expected the time went slow before she made her way downstairs. Gerald's parents and Evelyn, his grandmother, were there, plus Natalie, who wasn't supposed to be there. Natalie stared at Charlotte and clenched her fists, with her nails squeezing into her palms. "Charlotte, please have a seat," Mia said. Natalie's eyes were red with aggression when Gerald walked in. She had tears in her eyes, looking at him. His breathing almost stopped at the sight of her pitiful look. Mia glanced at her husband, and the latter cleared his throat, saying, "Gerald, Charlotte, now that it's happened, you two should get married. You are both adults who could marry now." Gerald furiously glared at Charlotte. Charlotte pretended not to see it, but she knew what was on his mind. Gerald must think she had tricked him into bed, letting everyone see them sleeping together and forcing him to get married to her. However, she still hadn't figured out why she was in Gerald's room last night. It must not be as simple as it seemed. "No, no way! If Gerald gets married to Charlotte, what about Natalie? They’re the real couple!" Evelyn shouted. "Mom, Gerald has to be responsible for what he did. Otherwise, he'll be a coward." If I don't shoulder the responsibility for Charlotte, shall I be a coward? Gerald thought to himself. Gerald sneered; he knew what his parents had in mind. They had always wanted to set him up with Charlotte, but, unfortunately, he had no interest in her, or what to say? He hated her. Charlotte sat there quietly. She looked at the floor as if what was happening now had nothing to do with her. "Charlotte, what do you think?" Gerald snorted at Charlotte as he knew what she would say.
