Summer’s POV I watched Lucian sulk when Doctor Josiah stepped in. I knew that he had mind-linked him to come, even though it now looked like he came at the wrong time. I did something I knew was going to blow his mind away. ‘Relax, don’t bite him. I was saying I love you too! I heard everything you said,’ I said in a mind-link and he looked at me with wide eyes! ‘How did you…’ he wanted to ask, but I shushed him. ‘Do you want my secret exposed before time?’ I asked him. The funny thing was that my eyes did not cloud like the wolves do. He looked at me for a long time as if Josiah didn’t matter anymore, until Josiah cleared his throat to get our attention.
