I guessed whoever that was, was following Lucian. What for, I have no idea. I felt Simone stir and was angry. "We need to protect mate!’ she said, and I nodded internally.
“Are you okay? You seem a little bit offish!” Lucian pulled me from my conversation with Simone. “Ye-yeah! I’m good,” I said, but kept a straight face. He clearly didn’t believe me but he decided to let it be.
