I shifted and Liam cat-walked towards her with careful and calculated steps. He hesitated and didn’t know how she would react. From the time we learned that we lost Summer due to our uncontrollable shift, we have been restless and afraid of shifting willy-nilly in front of human beings.
In fact, we only shifted when we needed to go and search for Summer. The day I met Kate, she reminded me of Summer. I don’t know why, but there was something similar to their eyes. I knew that people could have similar features and so I let it go.
