Summer went to her room and told the girls that they were going shopping. "Wow! It's good for you to get to see the kingdom, Princess Summer! I assure you that you will like it," Matty beamed. "I wish we could go to the park afterwards. You would love it too! It's good for relaxation and can greatly help with your mental and physical fitness!" Theodora said. They had no idea that they would be leaving with Macian. Since it was clear that he wanted the throne for himself and would put up a fight with the noble king, they didn't like him but unfortunately they couldn't do anything about it. " Why couldn't we go there?" Summer asked, wondering if there was a restriction for her to go there. "We have been instructed to avoid taking you to such places where you will be easily exposed," Theo said. She wanted to say 'they shouldn't go there because there might be shifted wolves there' but she couldn't say that. Summer didn't yet know about everyone's true identity in the kingdom. "Don't worry, Duke Macian will be with us, we can go there," she said nonchalantly. She thought the girls were just concerned for her safety. They froze. 'What?' They were both puzzled. Was this guy that determined? They had always known that whether one was a fated mate or chosen one, as long as they officially mated the other would not desire any other man or woman. What was going on with Duke Macian? Didn't he like Duchess Emeldah anymore? Did he really have genuine feelings for Princess Summer or was he just using Summer to mess up with that gentle soul, King Lucian? If it was the latter, why did Macian seem like he hated Lucian? They looked at each other astounded. They mindlinked as soon as Summer was busy changing in her closet room. 'We have to find out what plan Macian has. This doesn't sound good at all!' Matty said, the psychologist in her already making an investigation. 'I agree! Perhaps we should make Macian think we approve of him until he lets his guard down and then maybe we will get to know his intentions,' Theo agreed. Summer quietly came out and found the girls' eyes glazed over while mindlinking. When they scented her, they quickly stopped and smiled at her. "Oh are you done, princess?" Theo asked her. Summer smiled and nodded. "Is that a twin thing you were just doing now?" she asked. "I beg your pardon?" Matty asked, confused a bit. "I saw your eyes glaze over. The white part was covering the whole eye. I never witnessed that and I most certainly know nothing about it. So that's why I asked if that was your twin special talent," Summer clarified. The girls looked at each other not knowing how to explain. Matty smiled and said,"I guess so Princess! They both shrugged. Summer nodded and left the issue alone. She was looking stunning in light blue tight jeans, and a baggy white shirt with a thick belt. She let her curly blonde hair down and wore some round big sunglasses. She wore all white Nike shoes. "Wow, you are looking stunningly beautiful Princess Summer!" Macian exclaimed, with stars in his eyes. A tinge of red crept up Summer's cheeks. Her heart was warming up to this handsome gentleman. 'I've never felt this way before, I don't know what it's called but if it's love then it's safe to say I'm in love,' Summer thought. "Thank you Duke!" she shyly said. "Please call me Macian Princess! No need for formalities!" he responded. She nodded. "Only if you call me Summer also! I'm not even a princess anyway!" she whispered shyly. "Hey! What are you saying? You are a natural Princess!" he said cupping her face. a Summer felt an electricity go through her face and a warm feeling settled in her tummy! Her face was flushed and he smirked at her. "You look even more charming when blushing!" he said and before Summer could get all red even more he held her by her hand and said "come, let's get going Princess!" Somewhere behind the garage someone was hyperventilating out of anger seeing the interaction between those two. To save themselves from embarrassment, the twins had long sat inside the car and looked the other way. Along with the guards, no one wanted to look at the two! They left for the mall an hour later. They rode in a black limousine. That would certainly not fail to attract the attention Theo and Matty were talking about. The mall was huge and overwhelmingly beautiful. Summer was stunned but what puzzled her more was the fact that Macian went along with her to every shop without getting tired. She loved to read and in one of her online magazines she learned that men are not great at shopping. Shopped a lot. Even though Summer didn't want to use a lot of money because it wasn't hers, she was persuaded by Macian not to worry but shop. He made her buy very expensive stuff and he also bought himself some. By the time they finished, it was lunch time. They went to the top-deck restaurant for lunch. Macian hired two private rooms, one for him and Summer and another for the maids and guards. They took many hours outside the palace and that left two people very disgruntled. Summer felt a bit exhausted when they came home. They met a very angry King pacing up and down near the garage. "Hello king! Did you miss us?" mocked Macian. His words enraged Lucian to the point that his nose puffed up. Lucian knew he would fight Macian, he looked long at Summer, which only made her cringe. He turned around and left. In those days, he would hear the goddess' voice echoing in his head whenever rage took hold of him. Her words were his anchor, steering him away from making the mistakes that would put a dent between them. Everyone went inside, Macian ordered the maids and guards to carry everything to Summer's room and he left for his house. She noticed that he left one of his stuff amongst hers. She didn't know who to send since she had just told the girls to go and rest. Slipping her feet into her flip-flops, she descended the staircase and asked the direction to Macian's cottage. After a short walk on a pavement going west of the palace, she saw a very beautiful cottage with lawn and an exquisite front garden! She knocked on the front door and waited. She was surprised to see the beautiful woman who sat next to Macian at dinner that day. She was glaring just the same way she did that night. Folding her arms she spitefully said, "Well well! Who do we have here if it isn't the new home wrecker?" Summer was left stunned! 'Home wrecker? Me?' She wondered.
