Chapter 17: Vincent (3)
The next morning Vincent woke up and was surprised to see that his lover was no longer next to him. ‘Did he go take a shower?’ he thought to himself. After getting up and taking a quick glance around the room though he soon realized that Alex had probably left long before Vincent had woken up.
But how come? Did he have something else to do so early in the morning? It was only 6am and work didn’t start till 9am so Vincent couldn’t explain this to himself. Then yet Alex had been acting weird. Calling Charles to talk about his boyfriend, coming back in the bar about to faint and then leaving the next morning without saying ‘bye’. Nothing seemed to make sense in this situation.
And most of all… he left rather lonely. It wasn’t a feeling he wasn’t used to. But now
