When I wake up, it's as if I've had the most horrible nightmare I've ever had. I begin to remember fragments of it. My pack being slaughtered, losing myself to the dark side, as I killed Alpha Xander's soldier. As I choked the breath out of Darius.
The last part makes my eyes shoot out wide.
"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" I shout.
I search around frantically for Darius. I see him lying on the ground next to me.
"NO!" I scream out in sheer horror.
I can't believe I did this. I killed him—the only one to ever show me what true love was like. I killed him. And all he tried to do was stop me. I fall to the ground, placing my head in between my knees.
