Mated To The Enemy

Chapter 8

***Kate pov***

I kept on checking the time waiting for evening to finally come so that I could go to Philip's room to spend the night with him. I was so nervous. The thoughts about how the night is going to be with Philip was the only thing that occupied my mind throughout the whole day. I was so eager and enthusiastic to know how it's going to be but at the same time I wasn't so happy about it because I was sad that I was mated to an enemy and I literally don't have any other choice than to stay with him. It was a very tough decision and a very tough and difficult task for me but I guess I have no choice.

I had to put a few things in order. I have finished all the chores for the day. Even though I am already mated to the heir Alpha, I'm still waiting for the day of the wedding ceremony where I will finally become his own and then I will stop all of the chores and I'll stop being treated as a servant. I brought the little bag which had all the clothes I have. Most of the clothes I had were already torn and looking tattered. Of course, a servant is not expected to dress as beautifully as ever but I wanted to impress Philip, I want to feel the fire that I'm not just a servant but I have also tested royalty. I've been the daughter of an alpha before becoming a servant…

I was getting frustrated already since I couldn't find any good clothes in my bag to put on. It is not like I never had good clothes but all of them were taken away from us the moment we entered. The Pack house and clothes that were made for servants were given to us. This little bag that I have here are filled with clothes that does not befit of me and the fact that I was going to be spending the night with Philip. I wanted to look a little bit beautiful or smart but it seems that that is not even going to be possible since there are no good clothes in this bag.

My face was already turning green with frustration and I was about to begin to sweat profusely. The door opened quietly and I lifted my face to see Mira walk into the room. I didn't want to speak to her, so I kept searching for the clothes that I needed.

"I see that you're preparing to spend the night with Philip," Mira said. She said I wanted to ignore her but then I turned quietly, lifted my face up from the bag and looked at her face.

I looked at Mira's face and all that I could see on her face was jealousy. I don't know why she's like this. I don't know why she has decided to be jealous of me no matter what I do.

" Yes, I'll be spending the night with Philip. Do you have any problem with that?" I asked her.

She walked around the room," yes I do, I have a problem with you going to spend the night with Philip, I mean it should be me. I'm the one who loves him genuinely here," Mira said.

"I didn't choose this for myself, but maybe there's nothing you can do about staying with Philip, the moon goddess already mated Philip and I and that's why we're together and don't forget that I'm only here to avenge the death of our parents and two free you and I from this dungeon. Do you like it here? So why do you have to go around telling Philip about my plan?"I was becoming furious.

" I don't care, I won't place my feelings over the fact that you're my sister. I want Philip, I want him for myself and want to grace his bed, I want him to f**k me," Mira Said lustfully.

I looked at my sister, I shook my head in disappointment. I couldn't believe that she could place her own feelings above our plans.

"I hope you haven't forgotten about our plans. I hope that you haven't forgotten that Philip and his father are enemies, even though I'm mated to him," I said again.

" I want to use my opportunity to give you everything that you ever wished for, so can you please quit this argument," I said to her as I checked the time again.

The time was fast ticking, when I checked the time it was already 8pm. I heard a knock on the door , now I wonder who could be knocking. When I opened the door, an errand boy was standing there.

"The heir alpha, Philip, has been waiting for you to come spend the night,' he asked me to tell you to hurry or else you get punished.

"What!" I said to myself. I know that I had taken much time to prepare, but why would he even think of punishing me just because I haven't come to his bedroom yet. I picked a little pink dress for my bag. I had given up on finding the clothes to wear so I just picked it up, put it on, and looked at myself in the mirror. I wasn't too satisfied with the choice but at least I could manage it.

I walked quietly to the place where Philip's room was, as I walked out of our room, I could hear Mira and talking to himself, but I totally ignore her, closed my ears to whatever she could be saying.

I walked towards Phillips room. I got their dollars and net Philip opened the door. He stared from hair to toes, he kept staring at me.

My face was indifferent . There was no smile on my face and I was not in the mood to smile. I stared back at him. He had a mischievous smile on his lips like one who has seen his food for the night. He kept smiling to himself and ushered me into his room.

"Come inside," he said as he walked back to sit on the bed.
