Mated To The Enemy

***Kate's pov**** The wind continued to blow so heavily, making the orchard tree and other flowers in the courtyard dance to the rhythm of it. I walked gently into the compound, we had just returned from another, these few days, it's been war, war and war, our pack has been under constant attacks from the enemy Packs, but the only thing that made me so glad us that in all of these fights we came out victorious, we won all the fights. I walked through the door to the living room. Everywhere was so silent, but the living room was really a mess. There were empty wine glasses on the table, a few pieces of food on the table, I guess someone must have been there. But I couldn't find anyone, I wondered how the room became this messy. I was about to call one of the servants to clean it up when I heard a very loud giggling from one of the rooms upstairs. It could only be one person which is my twin sister Kate. I looked around the large living room, it's my dad's favorite place in this Pack House and he never allows anyone to mess it up. My dad is the alpha of this pack, he's one of the richest and highly respected alpha's, he had named my twin sister and I, Kate and Mira, respectively after his own sister and mum. My dad loves us and made sure that we got all that we ever wanted. But Mira, my twin sister, has done nothing but constitute a nuisance, she's full of hate towards me and filled with jealousy. Ever since we turned 20 all she does is to f**k different men, jumping from one man to another man and this her attitude has been giving my dad restless moments. Hearing the loud giggling from upstairs, I knew that it can only be Mira and only God knows the man she's with right in the room. My dad has warned her severally about bringing in different men to the packed house but she never listens to his warning. We are so rich and everything we ever wanted was given to us so she had no excuse for keeping different men, but of course she never changes her bad attitude. I kept going on till I got to the entrance of her room. The morning became louder and I was totally convinced that Mira was in there with a man. "Hey, what are you doing here with a man?" I asked her. She was lost in her own world as the two of them held the bodies together. "And why would you come into my room like that just to ask me what I'm doing with a man. The last time I checked, I'm an adult so I'm free to do whatever I choose to," Mira said loudly as the man tried to cover his n***d body. The man went out of the room immediately even though Mira tried to convince him to stay back and not go worry about me. Mira and I continued to argue, we started hearing a very loud noise from the courtyard, I wondered what could be going on. We tried to ignore the noise but when it persisted, we had no choice than to rush out. "Hey, what's going on here?" I asked, everywhere was in total disarray, the werewolves were fighting, it was obvious our pack was under attack. The werewolves on our pack had been greatly injured and some others were already laying dead on the ground. "Aww," just then I heard a very loud voice and turned towards the direction of the noise only to find my dad laying on the ground in great pain. I rushed to where he was. He was greatly injured. No one knew when the enemies struck, it was just 7:am some people were still asleep. "Dad, please wake up," I screamed, shaking my dad to see if I would be able to Wake him up. But alas it was too late, my dad had already given up the ghost. "Please wake up dad," I screamed again. I called out Mira to come help me out, just then, a group of men stepped forward in arrows. "Hey, you two, follow up immediately," they commanded. They forcefully dragged Mira and I to the vehicle they had come with. They were from the enemy Pack who had wanted to take the pack away from my dad all this while. I cried my heart out and no matter how hard I cried they still refused to let Mira and I go. Finally we got their pack. I saw the alpha and his heir standing on the entrance to their Pack House, drinks in hand and a very mischievous smile on their faces, I felt like spitting on their faces. Mira and I were led into the courtyard. "Here's your new house, you are going to be serving us from now on," the men who led us laughed mockingly. I looked around the room, it was a small room, compared to what we were already used to in our former Pack House, we were treated like princesses. But looking at the new room now and the fact that we are now slaves it seems like everything is about to change forever. I looked to see a very cute man staring at me from the the door of the slave room. He had the cutest face I have ever seen, fine lips, his skin glittering, I remembered he was the person I saw outside standing with the enemy alpha, I guess he is the heir, damn it, he looked so cute,but I chose to ignore him because all that was filled in my mind was how to escape from here and get a revenge for my dad's death. I can't not possibly be admiring someone who's father had my father killed. I saw him staring at me, with a spark of high admiration in his cute eyes. "Hey, come forward," he signaled to me.
