Chapter 2

**Philip's pov***

The moment these girls were led into the Pack house, one of them caught my attention. For the time I had been standing there with my father, I hadn't gotten myself. I guess I had fallen in Love with this girl, but I couldn't help it. I saw the guards lead her and her sister into the rooms meant for the servants, and I followed them closely behind, why must I fall in love with a servant, not just a servant but someone that has Just been captured a while ago.

No matter how hard I tried to beat the feelings that were fast growing in my heart, it just kept coming and pushing me further to where the girls were kept. I could build my feelings anymore, it was so sudden but I guess the heart knows enfj to fall in love.

"Hey, what's your name?" I asked her as I called out to her. The look on face said it. I guess she must be really confused and wondering why I was calling her. The feeling I have in my body continued to grow when she came forward. I have never felt like this for a woman in a long while, worst still for a mere servant.

"My name is Kate," she answered reluctantly, I mean, who wouldn't be? We just had their pack attacked, her father killed and now her chance of living a good life has been cut short and she's now living as a servant.

My father is someone that's always desperate for power and ready to do anything to get everything that he ever wanted. I supported him initially when he told me of attacking the Pack, but now that I set my eyes on Kate, I now feel very differently. I just wish that the moon goddess will make her my mate. So that she wouldn't have any options than to accept me.

I stared at her not knowing what else to talk to her about. I wanted to punish her, but then I had to change my mind. As I stood there I noticed the unpleasant look on her sister's face. I wondered what could be going on in her mind. Kate, that's a nice name I said to myself. I wouldn't want her to know or feel that I'm flirting with her. I noticed that Kate's sister tried to take Kate's attention from my side as she always had one thing or another to say to Kate just so she could distract Kate from talking to me.

"What's your sister's name?" I asked Kate.

"Her name is Mira," Kate replied. I later found out that they are twins but are not identical.

I went back into my room without saying anything else to Kate, my heart beat was in fast pace as I continued to think about Kim. I couldn't take the feeling of my heart but I would still have to act like I don't need her. I'm glad that there will be a party tonight. I might get the opportunity to meet my desired mate, I hope that the moon goddess pairs me with someone. I think I like Kate but she is no longer in my class because she's now a slave here.

I remembered that I didn't even tell Kate about the party so that they could get busy with the preparations, especially with the cooking. ..

I went back to the slave room "Hey, there's going to be a party tonight, so you should get ready to prepare everything that will be needed for the party," I said to Kate. As much as I wouldn't want her to work too, I still needed to maintain my position and never show that I my eyes are on her..

The chores were assigned to Kate and her sister Mira to do. Tonight is going to be a very big party, a lot of people have already been invited to it and I'm looking forward to it. I have already made all the necessary arrangements for the party and invited all the people that needed to be invited. Everywhere was already glittering with lights and beautiful decorations, some of the guys we already putting the things in order so that the party will turn out to be a very great, I have always wanted my parties to be the best ever, since I might be getting the opportunity to pick my mate at the party, I just hope that everything turns out perfectly well for me and I was wondering who could be my mate. I've already flirted with different beautiful girls but they never met my taste most, of them I have slept with them to satisfy my s****l urge but now I want something serious, hoping that the moon goddess would pick someone good and also pretty to be by my side so that I will be able to choose whom I mate is.

I gave out more instructions to Kate. I was beginning to lock up my mind against having any feelings for her, she's a servant for crying out loud. I continued to remind myself and I never expected to ever fall in love with someone like that. moreover she is an enemy, my father had her dad and her mum killed and here she is with her sister. There's nothing to love about her, I reminded myself. I quickly turned my face into another stent look warning her seriously to do all the chores she is expected to do else I deal with her.

I saw the sad look on her face but I didn't care. All I ever wanted was for her to serve me because she's nothing but an ordinary servant here we captured and brought here. I totally ignored her sad look, I know that she would be boiling in anger of for hatred for me and for my father but I cared less I continue to scream at her to do the job "make sure you do those chores and make sure that you make a delicious meal tonight, a lot of important people are going to be here and I do not want to disappoint any of then. So you better do the right thing," I screamed at her again but this time I was more serious and had a very mean look on my face.
