Chase POV I entered the house, eager to see Sage again, after what felt like a long day at work, surrounded by papers and boring, tedious tasks that failed to distract me from thinking about my new wife and what she had looked like as I left her in bed this morning. As I closed the door, I felt anticipation wash over me, placing my jacket and briefcase down and going in search of her. I found her in the kitchen, her face looking upwards as I crossed the room to kiss her lovingly on the cheek, inhaling the sweet aroma of her perfume.
