Sage POV To my surprise, Sapphire was already up when I finally ventured downstairs. The morning had faded to afternoon, and my eyes were bleary and disorientated as I crossed the kitchen to pour myself a cup of coffee. I was surprised, that she hadn't woken me to make her breakfast or clean the house like she normally did. Instead, she sat at the table, a newspaper in front of her and a smug expression on her face.
