Jonito pov:
Lumipas ang tatlong araw at nagising na rin si Jannelliza at walang komplikasyon, Rea is currently currently preparing some foods for the children before going to school.
I took a deep breath before asking her a question, "Are you still mad at me?"
"I'm not Jonito, hindi ko lang kasi maisip kung bakit gusto mo isali sa mga ekspirimento mo si Jannelliza." Tumingin na sagot nito sa'kin.
"I didn't mean it, I'm sorry hon," I said with a lower tone.
Lumapit naman ito sa'kin at hinawakan ang kamay ko.
"You don't need to say sorry Jonito, I know that you're desperate to find a way to save our daughter's life," she calmly said.
"I told you ate, Mom and Dad will find ways to fix their problem," a voice from a boy suddenly said.
Tinignan namin ang direksyon nito at nakita si Jannelliza at Ivan na parehong nakangiti.
"Goodmorning to my babies," Rea said with a smile.
Lumapit naman sila sa'min at humalik sa pisngi.
"Goodmorning Mommy and Daddy!" Ivan cheerfully said.
"Morning Mom and Dad," Jannelliza said before sitting on her chair.
"What's for breakfast Mommy?" Ivan asked.
"I made some bacon and eggs and your request waffles." Patong ni Rea ng dalawang Plato sa harapan ng dalawang anak namin.
"Wahh my favorite!" Ivan shrieked.
We just laugh at his reaction, as a father I can easily see how's Ivan attitudes different from other boys at his age. He's more calm yet loud, he preferred silent places, and lastly he doesn't have any interest at girls.
"Ivan I have a question for you," I said with a smile.
"What is it Daddy?" he asked.
Rea looked at me with a confused expression.
"Do you find boys attractive?" I asked.
Mukang nagulat naman ito at biglang yumuko.
"I'm sorry Daddy, I have a crush on my classmate name Arjhay. He's a boy, our teacher said that if you like someone from the same gender you're gay." Kamot sa buhok na sagot nito.
Hinawakan ko naman ang kamay nito at huminga ng malalim.
"It's ok son if you like boys," I said while smiling.
"For real dad?" he asked.
"Of course, pero wag muna mag muna mag jowa ha?" tanong ko.
Ngumisi naman ito at yumakap sa'kin.
"Thank you Daddy!" He cheerfully screamed while showing me a genuine smile.
After we finished our breakfast we heard the floating bus beep from the outside.
"The school bus is here," Rea said.
Ivan and Jannelliza went to Rea and took their packed lunch and bid a goodbye, after the kids finally left for school I went close to my wife and kiss her forehead.
"I'll be going to work now hon," I said.
She smiled before giving me a paperbag.
"Here's your lunch, tsaka buti hindi ka nagalit sa sagot ni Ivan." Yakap ni Rea sa leeg ko.
"Syempre, mahal ko ang mga anak natin Rea at kahit kelan 'di ko kayang makita na nasasaktan sila," sagot ko dito.
"I love you," she said.
"I love you too," I said before kissing her lips.
Pumunta naman ako sa garahe at nagsimula magmaneho, lumipas ang sampung minuto at nakarating na ako sa opisina na agad binati ang mga kapwa kong scientist. Habang naglalakad ay nakita ko agad si Dr. Ralph Anderson, iiwas pa sana ako pero tinawag nito ang pangalan ko.
"Goodmorning Dr. Anderson," bati ko rito.
"Can you come with me at my Office Dr. Situada?" Dr. Anderson asked.
Tumango na lamang ako bilang sagot dito, pagpasok namin sa opisina nito ay agad inabot nito ang envelope na pinasa ko noon.
"I really want to see this kind of experiment Dr. Situada," he said before taking a sip from a glass of rum on his hand.
"I'm sorry Dr. Anderson but I can't do this to my daughter," I said while looking at his eyes.
He just smiled but that smile brings something odd.
"I knew you'll say that Dr. Situada," Dr. Anderson said with a smile.
"What do you mean Dr. Anderson?" I asked with a serious tone.
He just smiled at me before asking me to leave his office, I went to my office and took a deep breath before looking at our family picture.
"What are you up too Dr. Anderson?" I asked to myself.
Rea pov:
I'm currently cleaning our house when I heard a knock on my door, I opened it and received a package.
"I wonder what's inside of this?" I asked to myself before opening the box.
Nagulat naman ako dahil may laman itong letter mula sa Head.
"Is it possible that the rebellion is starting to move?" I asked to myself.
Pumunta naman ako sa kwarto namin at hinila ang isang box sa ilalim ng kama namin ni Jonito, I opened the box and saw a gun.
"I already left the organization," I said to myself.
I was a former part of the rebellion when they were just newly built, we are against the robotic workers at first but some scientists didn't do anything that could harm humanity so we stopped the plan.
"Is it possible that they are now making something that could harm the humanity?" I asked to myself.
I took a deep breath before putting my gun back to the box and hiding it underneath our bed, I don't want to be involve in any war specially I have kids and they are my number one priority.
Thirdperson pov:
Ivan and Jannelliza went outside the school.
"What do you want?" Jannelliza asked.
"I want some matcha ice cream!" Ivan cheerfully said.
Jannelliza nodded before going to the counter, she ordered 1 matcha ice cream and 1 raspberry tea.
"Woah! Matcha ice cream is really the best!" Ivan shrieked.
Jannelliza shook her head on her brother's reaction, while they are inside the café without knowing that they're actually being watched by someone.
"Make sure to put them on the critical situation," the man from the phone said.
"Sure boss," the another man responded before starting to turn on his van.
He slowly drive in circle before looking at the kids direction.
"I need to do this for my kid safety," the man said while looking at the innocent faces of Jannelliza and Ivan.
He drove fast towards the café just to put the two kids on dangerous situation, Ivan and Jannelliza are currently enjoying their order when they suddenly got hit by the van. The people inside the café screamed upon seeing the situation, Jannelliza opened her eyes and saw her brother covered in blood.
"Ivan," she said with a weak voice.
Rea pov:
Kakatapos ko lang ilagay ang merienda ng dalawa kong anak nang biglang nang biglang bumagsak ang picture frame namin, agad naman akong lumapit dito at nagulat dahil nabasag ito.
"Ano bang hangin ito," saad ko.
Binuksan ko naman ang TV namin at saktong may balita.
"An incident happened in KrishKape café when a van driver suddenly lost his control and hit the café, two kids are now in dangerous situations after they got hit. The two kids was given a name of Ivan Situada and Jannelliza Situada, more news will be given shortly."
Bigla ko na lamang nabitawan ang picture frame na hawak ko matapos marinig ang pangalan ng dalawa kong anak, mabilis kong tinawagan si Jonito at nagulat ito sa ibinalita ko. Mabilis akong lumabas ng bahay at nagmaneho papuntang hospital, pansin ko naman na may ilang sugatan dahil sa nangyari sa aksidente sa café.
"Ivan Situada and Jannelliza Situada?" tanong ko sa front desk.
"May I know your name Mrs?" The Nurse asked.
"Rea Situada, I'm the mother of Jannelliza and Ivan Situada," sagot ko.
"They're still in the operating room because they are in critical condition when they arrive here in the hospital, Ivan Situada got stab the the glass shards on his stomach, Jannelliza Situada hit her head which cause some blood clothing to her head," the nurse said before excusing herself.
Bigla naman akong napaluhod dahil sa nangyari sa mga anak ko, nakita ko naman na dumating si Jonito at mabilis akong niyakap.
" Jonito ang mga anak natin." Yakap ko rito.
"Calm down Rea, everything will be alright," he said while he brushes my hair with his finger.
Bigla naman kaming nagulat nang biglang may mga nurse na tumatakbo papuntang operating room, agad ko naman hinarang ang isang nurse kahit alam kong nagmamadali ito.
"What's happening?" I nervously asked.
"The girl suddenly suddenly got cardiac arrest while the boy is having a respiratory issue," the nurse said before running again.
"Jonito ang mga anak natin!" Pagtangis ko dahil sa nangyayari.
Niyakap naman ako at Jonito hanggang sa magdilim na lamang ang paningin ko.
Jonito pov:
Bigla naman akong napatingin sa muka ng asawa ko na nawalan ng malay, ang sabi ng doctor at naging maayos naman ang operasyon pero delikado parin ang lagay nilang dalawa. They're both on coma because of the impact and the doctor said that if they didn't wake up within 3 days they'll be announce dead, pinunasan ko naman ang isang luha na pumatak sa mata ko.
"Ang mga anak natin Jonito?" biglang tanong ng isang mahinang boses.
Tinignan ko naman si Rea at inalalayan umupo.
"Kumain ka muna Rea," sagot ko.
Tumango naman ito at kinain ang binili kong pagkain, matapos nito kumain ay agad kong sinabi ang kalagayan ng mga anak namin. Gaya ng inaasahan ko ay umiyak ito, sinamahan ko naman ito papunta sa private room kung nasaan ang dalawa naming anak. Bumigat naman ang dibdib ko matapos makita silang dalawa at maraming aparatos ang nakakabit sa kanila, pumunta naman sa gitna si Rea at hinalikan ang noo nilang dalawa habang tahimik na umiiyak. Tahimik naman ako lumabas dahil hindi ko makayang makita na ganun ang kalagayan nila, paglabas ko ay nagulat ako dahil makita ko si Dr. Ralph Anderson.
"I've heard what happened, what's the situation?" he asked.
"They are both in comatose, the doctor said that if they didn't wake up within 3 days they'll be announced dead." Yumukong sagot ko.
"You know that you could do something to save them both Dr. Jonito Situada," Dr. Anderson said.
Bigla ko naman naisip ang ekspirimentong pinasa ko noon, pumasok naman sa isipan ko ang umiiyak na muka ni Rea at ng dalawa naming anak na walang malay. Tumingin naman ako Kay Dr. Anderson at huminga ng malalim, ayaw ko man aminin ay eto na nga lang ang huring paraan para magising at mabuhay pa ng matagal ang dalawang anak ko.
"So what's your answer Dr. Situada?" Dr. Anderson asked.
"Can I ask you a favor to fix the laboratory for our experiment Dr. Anderson? I want so save my kids so by tomorrow I'll be transferring them to the laboratory." Tingin ko dito.
Tinapik naman nito ang balikat ko bago ngumiti.
"You did a good decision Dr. Anderson," Dr. Anderson said before leaving me.
I opened the door and looked at my wife who's still crying while holding our kids hand.
"I'm sorry Rea," I whispered.
Ralph pov:
Ngumiti naman ako matapos kong tawagan ang mga tao sa lab para ayusin ang laboratory, pagdating ko sa bahay ay nakita ko agad si Laura na nag-aayos sa kusina. Hindi ko ito pinansin at pinuntahan agad ang kwarto ng anak ko, ngumiti naman ako habang nakatingin dito.
"Konting-konti na lang Phoebe at babalik kana, miss na miss na kita anak ko kaya kapit ka lang." Hawak ko sa machine na nagbibigay lamig sa katawan nito.
Ngumiti ako nang bigla akong makatanggap ng tawag dahil patay na ang inutusan ko, ako ang nag-utos na ilagay sa kritikal na kondisyon ang dalawang bata para pumayag si Dr. Situada sa gusto ko. I'm just a father who's desperate to save his daughter, no one could blame me and I'm willing to do everything just to save her.
"I'm willing to kill million of innocent people just to save you Phoebe, so hold on and I will bring you back life." Tumalikod kong saad.
