Chapter 21

Ivan's pov:

Agad ako ngayon kumuha ng isang damit sa drawer ko dahil may pupuntagan daw kami ni Arjhay, while I was fixing my hair into a bun my mom suddenly entered my room.

"Nasa baba na si Arjhay anak," Mom said.

Mabilis naman akong tumayo at lumapit kay Mommy, humalik ako sa pisngi nito at yumakap.

"2 days akong aalis Ma, wag mong kakalimutan na inumin ang mga vitamins mo," bilin ko kay Mama.

"Nako naman ang anak ko parang hindi uuwi," ngiting sagot ni Mama.

Natatawa naman kaming bumaba pareho at kitang-kita ko agad si Arjhay na naka-upo, tumingin naman ito sa gawi namin at tumayo.

"Tara na?" tanong ni Arjhay habang naka-tingin sa'kin.

"Oo," ngiting sagot ko.

"Tita aayusin ko muna ang motor ko," paalam ni Arjhay bago lumabas.

Bigla naman akong nagulat nang kalabitin ni Mama ang bewang ko.

"Bakit ma?" tanong ko rito.

"I know that smile," she teasingly said.

"What do you mean mom?" I asked.

"I saw how you and Arjhay exchanged glances, I'm happy to see that my baby is Inlove. I'm always here to support you ok?" she responded with a soft smile.

I suddenly felt my cheeks turning red because of what she said, I really can't hide anything from her.

"I'll tell you everything once I get back home after 2 days ma," I uttered.

She suddenly laughed and messed my hair. "I'll wait for that, I wanna know everything on my son's life."

Lumabas naman ako at inabot naman sa'kin ni Arjhay ang helmet na hawak nito.

"What took you so long?" he asked.

"Mom already knew about us and after this mission she wants me to tell her every single details about our relationship," I explained before riding his motorcycle.

"Did she approved our relationship?" Arjhay asked.

"She did," I said.

I can see a smile forming into his lips before he starts driving, ang misyon namin ngayon ay tignan ang lugar na pinasabog ng mga taga-empire dahil nandoon daw ang mga experiment.

"Have you even wondered of where Amo got her information?" Arjhay asked.

"Maraming connection sa loob ng empire, she's a powerful woman too who don't agree to the drastic changes of the empire," sagot ko rito.

Tumigil naman kami sa isang parang mga tambak ng mga bato, tinanggal naman ni Arjhay ang helmet n'ya at sinuot ang maskara.

"So this is the place, mukang sinisiguro ng empire na walang makakaalam nito." Tinanggal ko ang helmet ko at sinuot ang maskara ko.

"Tama ka," sagot ni Arjhay at nagkaron ng armor.

Mabilis gumawa ng kurtyente si Arjhay at pinasabog ang mga batong nakaharang sa pintuan, tumango naman ako kay Arjhay at inilabas ang Venus Scythe ko.

We entered the facility and saw alot of dead experiment inside.

"They really made sure that nothing left here," Arjhay said.

I silently followed his step and separated on the two tunnel, I slowly walks toward the other room while moving some stones from my path. I saw a moster trying to crawl so I quickly used my Venus Scythe to cut its head, I saw a chart inside the room.

"What is this?" I asked to myself.

Bigla naman akong napa-tigil nang mapansin ko ang mga picture, it was me and ate Jannelliza after the accident. I saw how my body is floating in a water tank while alot of needles are puncturing my body, I suddenly felt all my anger is building up after I saw a picture of us inside the café covered with our own blood.

"Does the accident is actually planned?" I asked to myself.

I suddenly felt the ground shaking and Arjhay suddenly appeared and drag me out, the place collapse and I'm just stating at it.

"What the hell are you doing Ivan?!" Arjhay madly asked.

"I have no idea," I said with a blank tone.

"You unconsciously use your telekinesis which causes that place te become more unstable," Arjhay said.

We suddenly heard a loud groal and there I saw a large experimental monster who looks like a bear, I quickly felt a huge pulse of rage inside of me and I could see it red while I slowly killed the monster infront of me. Arjhay walk towards me and hugged me tight, he slowly brushing my hair to help me to calm down, I suddenly felt so weak and my tears began to fall into his shoulder.

"I'm fvcked up again Arjhay," I whispered underneath my sob.

"Hush Hon, please stop crying." He brushes my hair with his finger while trying to calm me down.

"Take me home," I whispered.

Arjhay move swiftly and we both went back to our camp, Mom saw me and I quickly ran into her arms and cry.

"What happened?" Mommy asked.

"I'm not sure Tita Rea but I just felt Ivan losing his control over his ability which caused the whole place to become more unstable," Arjhay explained.

"I'll take care of this Arjhay," Mommy said before assisting me inside the house.

All I could think about is the accident that happened to us, I suddenly felt like I wanna know more about my past. Mom sat besides me and hold my hands, she silently massage it which causes me to calm down a bit.

"Anong nangyari Ivan?" tanong ni Mommy.

"I saw my pictures with ate Jannelliza before the accident, during the accident, after the accident, during the experiment and after the experiment. Nasa pictures lahat ng nangyari sa'min dalawa," sagot ko.

"What do you mean anak?" Mom asked.

"Someone actually planned the accident, someone did the accident to us to ruined our lives," I said with a shaking voice.

Mom suddenly hugged me and I felt so safe into her arms, I slowly calm down and took a deep breath.

"Gusto kong alamin lahat matapos ang aksidente Ma, gusto ko alamin kung sinomg demonyo ang sumira sa pamilya natin. Gusto ko s'yang pag-bayarin sa lahat ng sakit na dinulot n'ya sa atin Ma," seryoso kong saad.

"Suportado lahat ng galaw at disisyon mo Ivan pero sana hindi ka mapamak sa daan na tatahakin mo," sagot ni Mama.

Niyakap ko naman ito habang may isang bagay lang ang nasa isip ko, ito ay ang pag-bayarin ang may gawa nito.

Arjhay's pov:

Kaharap ko ngayon si Amo at sinabi rito ang natagpuan namin, ngumiti naman si Amo pero wala akong ngiti sa labi.

"Asan nga pala si Ivan?" tanong ni Amo.

"He suddenly had a breakdown after we got out of that hell," I firmly responded.

"So that's the reason why your 2 days mission became 6 hours," Amo said before taking a deep breath and giving me a folder.

Tinanggap ko naman ito at binuksan ko naman ito, puro picture ito ng isang babae at lalake mula sa isang café papunta sa tila isang laboratory.

"Ano ito Amo?" tanong ko.

"Si Ivan 'yan at ang kapatid n'ya na si General. Jannelliza, kung hindi ginawa ni Dr. Situada ang experiment ay maaaring patay na ngayon sila Ivan. Rea and Ivan escaped the empire and became rebel," Paliwanag ni Amo.

Nagulat naman ako dahil sa mga larawan sa loob ng envelope, Ivan really came from a hell like experience.

"Dr. Jonito Situada was so desperate to save his children so he performed his experiment to them without knowing the effects, the experiment was a success but he didn't expect that Ivan's and Jannelliza's DNA would change and made them have an ability called Polaris and Telekinesis," Amo added.

"Ngayon may sumusubok na gawin ang experiment para gumawa ng kagaya nila, tama ba ako amo?" tanong ko rito.

"Tama ka Arjhay, someone is trying to copy Jannelliza and Ivan. Hindi rin natin alam kung ano ang plano nito oras na maging tama ang lahat," sagot ni Amo.

Para naman akong nawalan ng enerhiya dahil dito, mukang ito ang dahilan kung bakit nawalan ng control si Ivan sa ability n'ya kanina. Napakatanga ko dahil hindi ko man lang inalam kung bakit ganon ang reaksyon n'ya kanina, I shouldn't have been more insensitive during those time.

"Don't worry, I know that Rea is trying to calm Ivan. Babalik din agad si Ivan sa dati kaya wala kana dapat isipin." Tapik ni Amo sa braso ko.

Bagsak balikat naman akong umuwi sa bahay at agad akong sinalubong ng kapatid ko na si Peter.

"Aba welcome home Kuya, ano meron at mukang biyernes Santo ang muka mo?" tanong nito.

"Ang panget mo kasi," sagot ko rito.

Tinignan naman ako ng masama nito kaya nilagpasan ko ito at humalik sa noo ni Nanay.

"Asan si Tatay?" tanong ko.

"Nililinis yung motor n'ya," sagot ni Nanay.

Ilang minuto lamang ay pumasok na si tatay na puno ng grasa ang kamay.

"Kumusta ang misyon anak?" tanong ni Tatay.

"Wala naman naging problema tay, mabilis namin natapos ni Ivan," sagot ko.

"Nako mag-hugas ka nya ng kamay Manuel at malapit na hapunan!" sigaw ni Nanay.

"Oo na mahal," sagot ni tatay bago pumasok sa banyo.

Ako naman ay umakyat para mag-bihis, pagbaba ko ay kumain ba kami, habang kumakain ay tumingin ako kay Peter na lumalaki ng kaunti ang katawan.

"May Empire weapon kana ba?" tanong ko rito.

"Wala pa Kuya, pero sabi ni Amo hahanap na raw sila ng mga empire weapon dahil nag-sisimula na ulit gumawa ang empire ng mga bagong weapons eh," sagot ni Peter sa tanong ko.

"Anong weapon ba gusto mo?" tanong ko rito.

"Gusto ko yung parang empire body weapon lang or accessory, kesa sa full body armor," sagot nito.

"Nako Peter dapat malakas ka rin kagaya ng Kuya mo," singit ni Nanay.

"Abah Nay oo naman, mana kaya ako kay Tatay," sagot ni Peter.

"Tama 'yan anak, pareho tayong gwapo at astig." Taas ni Tatay sa palad n'ya.

Nakipag-apir naman dito si Peter Kaya napa-iling si Nanay.

"Pareho rin kayong sakit sa ulo ko, nako kayong dalawa talaga ang sarap n'yong bugbugin. Lalo na ikaw Manuel ah," sita ni Nanay.

"Sorry na mahal ko," ngiting sabi ni Tatay.

"Sandali nga pala Kuya, kumusta si Ate Ivan?" tanong bigla ni Peter.

"Ayun ang daming trabaho, alam mo naman na s'ya ang mas maraming misyon kesa sa'min," pagkukunwaring sagot ko rito.

Tumango naman sila at hindi na nag-tanong pa hanggang matapos kaming kumain ng hapunan.
