“Hello!” I greeted the two guards outside Jerry’s office with a small wave and smile before following the Prince inside his office.
“Do you have to do that?” Jerry asked as soon as the door to his office was shut closed. His disapproval was evident with a frown on his face.
“What?” I asked as proceeded to go to his window.
“Greet them as if you’re besties with them.” I looked at him as if he’s from another planet.
“Excuse me! If they’re my besties, I will be hugging them and probably kiss their cheek or their lips, if they were my boyfriend. But they’re not, so the only thing they get from me is a small wave.”
“Fine. But no more of that. No more waving or smiling.”
I just gave him a tight smile. He knew I will not be following him.
