When I walked into the room that night, the only thing I wanted to do was to gather her into my hands and see if she was no more plagued with fever, to check her wounds that the doctor have made sure to treat with so much effort. I could not do much, because she was sleeping so soundly.
I have learned that she woke up for the first time that evening and I could not be more proud of her. With the way she landed on the ground, despite me trying to help her dodge the arrow, it would weaken anybody. I’m just thankful I was not more than a few seconds late as the doctor have said.
I would not say the search was not successful but it was not what I had hoped for. It might end up upsetting her but it didn't matter now.
