14. Sarah And The Gang

Sophie walked around with Melisa and Roy. This couple is always hand in hand. They both look so intimate and intense. But a sight like this seemed a little strange to Sophie. Of course, while in high school, Sophie also saw her friends who were dating. Unfortunately, Sophie wasn't there. She's never dating anyone. She always thought no one would want her.
"You guys are so intense," Sophie said. She knew her words were too old-school, but Melisa and Roy could really kiss even though Sophie was around them.
Roy smiled. He knew Sophie was unfamiliar with their habits.
"We're mates, Sophie. It's natural to be like this. After all, I'm twenty-one years old. So is Melisa. There's nothing wrong with make out," said Roy.
Sophie knows. She is the weird one. Nowadays, who is shy about expressing their feelings. "But we are on campus. I think that is lacking…."
Melisa took Sophie's hand. She smiled at the girl. "One day, you'll do the same when you meet your mate. That's not an option, Sophie."
"Mate?" Sophie smiled. "Who would want to be with me?" The girl looked insecure about herself.
"You must have it. Jane bringing you to this place means you will follow life and the rules here. But I don't know. You may meet a human mate. The Moon Goddess is never predictable. She does things according to her will," Melisa mumbled.
They kept walking past the classes at the Wolfburg campus. Sophie was in awe of this place. When they entered the university grounds with Jane, Sophie was sure they had passed through a very dense forest. She didn't expect that this place was even so modern.
"University at the Arcade might not be this great," Sophie muttered.
Melisa heard Sophie's words. She knew this girl was confused about this place.
"You want to go to the hall? That's where we'll often go when your semester starts," said Melisa.
"I have no idea. I don't know what to do now," Sophie said.
Roy put his arm around Sophie in front of Melisa. Sophie immediately removed Roy's hand because she didn't want Melisa to misunderstand.
"It's okay, Sophie. I know Roy won't be able to go anywhere except with me. He is my mate. We are meant to be together. You don't have to feel shy. You can consider us your friends," said Melisa.
This is the first time Sophie has met people who want to be friends with her. She felt touched.
"Thanks," Sophie said.
"Oh, Sophie." Melisa hugged the girl. "Don't be sad. If there's anything, just say it. Don't be sad alone. We'll live together in the dorm. You can't be gloomy."
Sarah and some women walked over. The girl saw Sophie, who was hugged by Melisa. Sarah is disgusted with Sophie and the rest of her gang.
"Oh, the smell of humans!" grumbled one of the girls standing behind Sarah.
"Hey, Gina, watch your mouth! Or Jane will slap you!" Roy warned the girl. Her name is Gina. She was a member of Sarah's gang, but it was more accurate to say he was Sarah's servant.
Sophie let go of Melisa's arm. She looked at Sarah and the girls behind her. Sophie didn't know what to do with Sarah. Even Geralt warned her not to get close to this woman, but they always met.
"Melisa, let's go. You want to take me to the hall, right?" Sophie said to Melisa.
"Okay," Melisa replied. The girl put her arm around Sophie and led her away.
"You're friends with humans, Melisa? That's disgusting. You're an omega daughter's and dare to go to Wolfburg. And now you're friends with Hybrids. You're really pathetic," Sarah teased.
Melisa looks annoyed, but the girl was silent. Roy, the mate, also defended Melisa. "You're also a nobody, Sarah. Don't be pretentious here," Roy warned.
"Roy!" Melisa called her boyfriend. She did not want Roy to serve Sarah's behavior. She didn't want to get into trouble with Sarah. Moreover, Sarah is Sam's mate, the son of Alpha.
"Listen to your mate omega's. She knows fighting with Luna will be fatal." Again, Sarah reminded Roy, who was already very angry with Sarah. His eyes had even turned red. But Melisa immediately pulled Roy away from Sarah.
"Let's go, Roy!" Melisa said.
Sophie saw for herself how much people were afraid of Sarah. But why? Is Sarah the owner of this place? Or she contributed vast sums of money to this university, as in most rich people's stories.
Melisa grabbed her hand and pulled the girl away from Sarah.
"Damn Hybrid!" said Gina curtly.
Sarah looked at Sophie, who passed with Roy and Melisa. The look of hatred was evident in Sarah's eyes.
Sophie walked a little faster because Melisa kept pulling her hand. The girl looked like she was holding back her tears. Sophie could feel the anger and sadness that Melisa was holding back.
"Melisa, what's wrong?" Sophie asked.
Melisa didn't answer, but Sophie knew Melisa wasn't feeling well.
"Sophie, let's go to the hall now!" Melisa said.
Sophie just nodded. Suddenly Melisa carried her on her back and carried Sophie down the hall. Sophie wonders, how can Melisa be so assertive? Yet she walked at a brisk pace. Roy also followed behind.
Less than five minutes later, they arrived at the hall. Melisa put Sophie down. Roy immediately closed the hall door and locked it. He hugged Melisa, and the girl cried in Roy's arms.
Sophie didn't understand why Melisa was crying. She knew Sarah was being rude, but should Melisa cry?
"I'm sorry, Sophie. I should have accompanied you around," said Melisa, still sobbing.
"It's okay. You can cry if you need to," Sophie said.
Melisa let go of Roy's arms. The man immediately wiped Melisa's tears and kissed her lips. Sophie felt Roy was so sweet to his lover.
"Why are you afraid of that woman?" Sophie asked.
"Because I'm an omega," answered Melissa. "My mother is Sarah's father's servant."
Sophie frowned. "But what does that have to do with you? You're a student here. Do your parents' jobs have anything to do with your position here?"
Roy invited Melisa to sit on the floor. Sophie sat down and looked at the girl. "Omega has no position other than being a servant, Sophie. Neither do I. I'm still a descendant of omega. I'm only in the lowest strata of a pack."
"Hey," Roy interrupted. "You are my mate. I don't care if you are an omega," said Roy.
Sophie didn't understand what they were talking about. She really doesn't understand what omega is, Alpha. Why did Melisa have to submit to Sarah?
"Hey, you guys? Who said you can use the hall!" Someone shouted from the darkness.
