Chapter 4

On her first day at the campus, Hazel has told Leo about a boy who was bullying her, It was Ryan. Leo asked her to take a stand against him, Ryan was a jerk at that time. She tolerated the torture of Ryan and his friends for a month, but then on Leo's scolding.

She thought to stop it. Hazel stood up for herself, she warned them that if they didn't stop bothering her, she will file a complaint against them at the police station.

So, they stopped coming in her way, but one day when Ryan bullied her with his friends, he accidentally broke her glasses. As result she tumbles to the floor her head hit the locker as result she was bleeding badly.

Hazel got four stitches on her head on the bad wound. She was so pissed at him! Hazel told Leo about the incident, he was fuming with anger. He told Hazel to file a complaint against him in the police station because people like him are sick.

Hazel was ready to do it but when he came to her hostel with a regretted face. Ryan also brought new reading glasses for her, he asked sorry from her almost pleading to forgive him.

At that time she realized that he is not a bad person. It was his friends who were pushing him to do all the wrong deeds! Ryan himself is not like them...

Hazel again told Leo about him coming to her hostel to say sorry! Leo was so mad at Hazel that how can she let a person like him entered inside her room... But Hazel made him understand that the boy is not a bad person.

Leo did not agree with her from that time till now about Ryan, his opinion about the boy is that he is very arrogant and egoistic.

Leo asked Hazel to tell him the name of his college friend. So he can file a complaint against him but Hazel never told him the name of Ryan.

Leo always warned Hazel to stay away from Ryan but she made a good bond with him, but Leo was not comfortable with that boy.

A message popped on the screen window dragging her out from her thoughts, Hazel came out of her thoughts, she saw Leo's message.

Leo: "Leo here, Just call my name once. I will be there... wicked emoji"

Hazel: "Leo, I want to tell you about something..."

Leo: "Why so serious? What happened? Hazel, you fine?" He becomes worried about her in less than a moment.

Hazel: "Leo, please promise me you will not be mad at me?" She knows his reaction.

Leo: I promise, I will not be mad at you, but why do you sound so worried?"

Hazel: "Leo, I am going to a movie with my friends." She typed then closed her eyes. She didn't want to read his text with scolding. She opened her eyes when she hears the ring of the notification.

Leo: "Yeah, wow! Go enjoy." He typed, Hazel was wondered at his cool behaviour. What happened to him?

Hazel: Leo? It's cool!" She texted again to be sure, as he is not such a guy.

Leo: "Yeah, It's cool... Just be careful. Come back before 11:00 pm. I will be waiting for you, xD"

He typed, Hazel didn't know that a smirk was playing on his lips on the other side.

Hazel: " Thank you, Leo! (I love you!!!)" She deleted the last three letters. Hazel blushed then typed again.

Hazel: "I will be back on time, Bye." She typed waiting for his text. But he went offline, so she turned off her computer.

Hazel was waiting for Ryan to come and pick her up, her phone ring again. It is from Ryan.

"Hello, Hazel come downstairs. I am waiting." He said.

"I am walking downstairs." Hazel cut off the call

She locked her room walking down the stairs, she comes face to face with Aunt Jasmine.

"Hazel going out?" She asked raising an eyebrow, she was the caretaker here.

"Aunt Jasmine. I am going with Ryan to watch a movie. I will be back till 11:00. Have a good night." She informed her, the old lady nodded her head. Hazel then walk past her towards the exit gate. Hazel moved out, she saw Ryan standing beside his car waiting for her.

Hazel went towards him, he looks upwards to saw her face, she is looking so beautiful.

Ryan has a surprise for her but he didn't tell her yet! Hazel, you will find out soon...

Ryan thought a smile came upon his face.

Hazel stroll towards him, Ryan was looking very good, he got a little too handy for a movie. Ryan was wearing a black shirt with blue jeans, his hair was set perfectly backwards. He is handsome but when he grooms himself, he looks dashingly handsome. Hazel halt near him, he was standing in front of the car. Ryan smiled looking at her.

“Someone is looking beautiful!" He said smirking. Hazel smiled then said.

“Someone is looking handsome!" Ryan laughed loudly. He moved away from the car, going to the other side. He opened the door for her, he is being a real gentleman.

Hazel walks towards the other side sliding in the car.

“Thank you! I see a gentleman.” She clears her throat, he nodded his head then walk to the other side, he sat on the driver seat.

“Ryan, where is Asher? You said that he is coming along‼!” Hazel asked not finding Asher in the back seat.

“Oh, Asher. He said, he will reach the theatre, he is coming in his car.” Ryan said. But Hazel doubted, he is not saying the truth… But she nodded her head. Ryan didn't look into her eyes when he speak to her, he is hiding something from Hazel.

Ryan starts the car driving to the road, Hazel was sitting quietly when he was driving with concentration.

"Are you hiding something from me?" She asked. He shook his head in a NO manner.

"No, why?" He asked looking into her eyes. She just shrugged her shoulders.

"Just a thought..." She said. He smiled then again gave his all attention to the road.

Hazel then start looking out of the car window. Yes, she told Leo that she is going out with friends.

But, she didn't mention that she is going out with him. This feeling was getting to her, she heaved a deep sigh!!! As soon as she will reach back, she will tell Leo. With this satisfaction, Hazel thought to enjoy her time...

A very romantic song was playing in the car.

Hazel remembered Leo telling him all his day's routine. Sometimes, he talks to her all night. He didn't let her sleep because his day didn't go well, And he want her to talk to him. And only one message from her made his mood.

"Won't you listen to my story

When the fool's just jeer

And you are here"

She can't remember any day when he didn't say that he wish, he was here with her... it was not only Leo's wish. But it was her wildest wish. She wants him to be here.

"I need to tell my story

Won't you listen to my story

What I need to tell

'Bout my time in hell"

Ryan saw her drawn in her thoughts... He increased the volume of the song. He wanted to grab her attention.

"Won't you listen to my story

Now there's no one here

I feel my fear"

But she didn't look towards him.

"I need to tell my story

Of days gone by

And living a lie"

He wanted to tell her the biggest confession of his life. But she was not interested in it. Ryan always feels as she has built a wall around herself and crossing her boundaries will either destroy him or kill him. But he can not wait anymore...

"I hate to tell my story

But hold me tight

All through the night

And we'll write a whole

new story..."

It was resonating in the background and she was drawn in the thoughts of Leo.

He is coming back soon... Yes, he will be here. AND it will be the start of their story. What will he tell her? How does he look!!! There were so many questions in her head.

"Ahm..." Ryan cleared his throat and she look towards him in a questioning manner.
