I woke to the sound of the shower and Ryan singing some pop song horribly off key. Wincing when he hit a particularly high pitched note I rolled over rubbing my eyes. I quickly reached down towards where my powers usually rested and groaned when I felt nothing there, still empty.

"No need. We have already seen each others goodies." He smiled as he looked down my body like I was also naked.

I couldn't help the small smile that came to my lips as I looked into his happy face. Ryan might be second in command of my guards but he was also the most easy going of them, always ready to make me laugh and always ready to please me.

I shake my head as I turn back to my clothes. Just looking at his body had turned me on and was sure he could smell my arousal. ' Danika, we need a plan' Lyonels voice growled through the mindlink and I sighed as I started the bath, putting in some lavender bath salts in courtesy of the hotel.

'one hour won't matter Lyonel' I answer as I pull my hair up into a messy bun.

'well if you didn't decide to f**k Ryan you would have had plenty of time to take a bath' he snapped back.

I froze as I was about to step into the bath. Lyonel had never spoken to me like that before and I was sure it was from all the stress going on right now but he knew better.

'We will talk after my bath' I growl at him sending some of my Luna power down through the mind link before slamming it shut.

I didn't need him to piss me off more than I already was. So I took my bath, letting the hot water loosen my muscles and I stayed in it much longer than I was going to knowing it would piss Lyonel off more. When I got out I took my time drying myself off, putting lotion on and taming my hair into a braid. Once I was done I grimaced when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I was even paler than usual making my eyes seem even bigger, staring back at me hauntingly. Dark circles under my eyes and a gauntness to my cheeks rounded out the whole look.

I opened the door to see Ryan and Lyonel in my room. Ryans face was void of any emotion though I could see a little sly glint in his brown eyes. Lyonel just looked pissed.

'He is mad' Ryans voice came through the mindlink sounding amused but his face didn't show it.

I turned to look closer at Lyonel and it looked like steam was going to come out his ears at any moment.

"Is there a problem." I ask as innocently as I could.

Lyonels jaw flexed as he stared at me for a few seconds before turning to the door his back stiff.

"We are late." he grumbled as he opened the door.

"Since this is my meeting, it starts when I get there." I answer calmly as I push past him not waiting for him to catch up
