"I just didn't expect you knew something about flowers." Maddison said to Levi who sat beside her and laugh afterwards.
The three were currently having a fancy dinner at Maddison's house. The couple were talking with enthusiasm as they eat the meal that Maddison cooked for them. While the auburn haired girl that sat in front of them was quietly poking her steak with her fork.
"Is it because I'm a man?" Levi said, squinting his eyes at her with a lopsided grin.
"Also that, and also because you didn't really shown quite an interest on it. I never even saw one on your house." Maddison said before she ate a sliced piece of her steak.
"Well, to tell you I'm not really that fond of flowers. I just have an idea of them because my Aunt Cecile had a flower shop. She always talks about it everytime we visit her. " Levi said as he cut a slice of his steak and eat it afterwards.
"The one who lives next town?" Maddison asked as she faced her lover.
"Hm-mm. That's her." Levi replied after he took a sip on his glass of wine. "We love her so much. She's so kind and sweet but Roland can't keep his annoyance everytime she talks about flowers. She won't stop until you wouldn't know all kinds of flower there is." He added and laugh as he remembered his older brother's bored and annoyed face back then.
Maddison laugh because of it too and said. "I can imagine his face."
The couple's conversation was interrupted when Skye accidentally spilled her glass of wine on the table. Fortunately, it was already half empty and she immediately took it back in place so there was only a small amount that spilled. But it still stained the cream colored table cloth Maddison placed on the table.
Levi quickly grab the folded table napkin beside him and gave it to Skye when he saw what happened.
"Here." He said.
"I'm sorry." Skye said after she took the table napkin from Levi and is now cleaning the table cloth with it.
"It's okay, don't worry about it." Maddison said, pertaining to the stain on the cloth. She doesn't care, she can just wash it tomorrow. What she cares about was Skye. Even though she's having a good talk with Levi, she still seem to noticed her little sister's bothered look. She didn't ask her earlier because she thought she was just tired from going out with her new friends. But it looks like it was more than that and so she can't stop herself from asking.
"Are you okay, Skye?" she asked with a worried face.
"Yeah." Skye replied but her tone of voice was somehow unsure. So her sister asked her again.
"Are you sure ?" She asked. "Cause you seem bothered. You've been like that since you came home." she added as she patiently waits her sister to reply.
"Is there something bad happened again?" Maddison said. The thought about it added more worries on her. "Don't try to hide it from me Skye. I swear I will never let you go out again."
"Did that guy followed you again, Skye?" Levi immediately asked her. Anger was obvious on his face and his jaw clenched because of it. This is the first time Skye saw him get angry. She always used to see him calm and friendly. He was even funny and cheerful sometimes, especially when he is with the group.
"No, no. I've never seen him again."
"Then what is it?" Maddison asked her as soon as she finishes her sentence.
"Tell us, Skye." Levi said afterwards.
Skye just looking at them as her forehead scrunched and said. "Guys just relax, okay? Nothing happened. I just had a bad day, that's all." Skye immediately remembered what happened earlier at the diner and she thought that it wasn't a bad day at all cause she finally met the blueish grey eyed angel and she had kissed her too.
"There's nothing to worry, really." She added and the couple just quietly staring at her. "Go on, don't mind me. Just continue what you were talking about. "
Maddison just sighed and they both get back to eating their meal again. Skye took her fork and knife from the table and cut a slice on her steak. She was about to put it in her mouth when she suddenly remember something. She gently put the cutleries back down and face the two who were quietly eating.
"Hey, Lev." Skye called the attention of the only man in the house and he then turned his head towards her while still chewing his food on his mouth. "There is something I wanted to ask you." she added.
Levi forehead scrunched and replied. "What is it?" He kindly asked.
"Where can I find Violet Adams house?" Skye asked with a liitle urgency on her voice.
This is what actually was bothering her since she arrived. She wanted to formally talk to the woman and apologize to her for what happened, and most especially, thank her for helping her the other day. She really wanted to as soon as they left the diner but her friends didn't want to gave her the address. They said they didn't where she lives but she was sure they knew. They just don't want her to go there. And they kept saying to her that she doesn't have to worry about cause it was nothing, which is clearly something for her. She don't really get them. She can obviously see that they were worried to but they act like they didn't.
When Skye came home, she immediately searched her online. She found out that she had a winery company and she also owns a hundred fifty hectares of land in this town. Merely half of them were vineyards.
Skye can't even believe it. Her family owns nearly half of the land of this place. No wonder her family were the most influential people here.
"Pardon?"
"Who?"
Levi and Maddison asked at the same time as they look at her.
"Violet Adams. Piper said you two were friends, so I'm guessing you knew where she lives." Skye said directly to Levi, hoping he would give the address to her.
"Why do you want to know her address? Do you know her?" Maddison was the one who asked when Levi didn't say anything.
"Kind of." Skye replied. "Remember what I told you after the incident on the alley? That someone had help me? Well that someone was her." She added.
The couple glanced at each other before Maddison faced her again and said. "Are you sure?" she asked.
"I think so." Skye replied. "When I asked her earlier if she knew me she said no. But I'm sure it's her. Blueish grey eyes, brunette and fair complexion. Yeah, it's definitely her. " she added with conviction..She doesn't know why the woman won't admit she doesn't know her but she is sure that was her.
"You met again?" Levi suddenly asked her with curiousity in his face.
"Yeah. At the diner just this morning."
Levi turned oddly quiet. He was looking particularly at nothing as if he was in his deep thoughts.
"So, can you give me her address?" Skye asked him warily. Breaking his thoughts on the process.
"I'm sorry, but I can't." Levi gently refused. He was the one now who seem bothered..
"What? But why?" Skye asked, incredulously looking at him. She doesn't get why they wouldn't give her the woman's address. 'What's with them?' she thought.
Levi took a deep breath before he look at Skye again with a serious face.
"Violet is a very distant and reserved person, Skye. She hates people who pry into her personal life " he started, carefully explaining to her the reason why. "She doesn't usually invites people to her place. And most of the people here doesn't know where she lives, she made sure of that." he added and as he look at the intrigued Skye.
"That's impossible. She's a well-known person, I'm sure the media would be curious to know where she lives." She said m, scrunching her forehead.
"But there is no media here. That's what makes the town peaceful." Levi replied before he gets back on eating when Skye didn't say about it anymore.
There's no media. That's why she can't find even a single Radio broadcasting station here. And she finds it odd.
"Skye, stop thinking about it now. It seems like she doesn't want to deal with people that's why she said she doesn't know you. I know she already knew you were thankful. " Maddison said with a caring smile.
"Go finish your dinner now." she added as she gets back on eating her meal too.
That wasn't the only reason why Skye wanted to see her. Aside from thanking her, she wanted to apologize too. For what happened at the diner. Even though the woman wouldn't like it, she will still try to find a way to talk to her. She just can't bear the thought that she just harassed the person who helped her.
Maybe there wasn't an address of her place on the internet, but there is an address to her company. And Skye was determined enough to go there and talked to her. She just hope the woman would allow her to.

A sleeping Violet was woken up by a pair of soft lips. It stayed on her lips for a while before it was gone away. The absence of it was the reason she opened her eyes. And when she did, she was greeted by a pair of two beautiful amber eyes that she ever seen.
"Good morning." Said by the owner of those eyes who's hair was auburn , nearly identical to the color of the log cabin house they were currently staying at.
Her companion smiled at her sweetly. Violet just stared at her. Admiring her beauty and the visible freckles on her face that she always love.
The girl stood up from sitting on the side of their king-sized bed which the pillows and duvet were all dark gray in color.
The auburn haired girl was stunningly gorgeous on her short white spaghetti strap nightdress. The hem of her dress was blown by the wind from the balcony as she slowly walk backwards while looking at her seductively.
She just stared at her as if she was in a dazed. She can't take away her eyes from the auburn haired beauty that her inner wolf always gone crazy for. And she felt her lips formed a smile too.
Her mate turned around and ran outside the balcony, giggling all the way. She can't contain her happiness from hearing those giggles.
Violet sat up and got off on her bed wearing an elegant black satin nightgown. She walk out from the room to the balcony with a smile still on her face.
There, she find her mate standing peacefully. Looking at the wide and beautiful view of the forest under while her hands were on the railings.
She turned around when she felt the presence of Violet. And a smile was immediately formed on her gorgeous face.
Violet slowly walk towards her direction and her mate took a step forward too. But those amber colored eyes of her mate slowly change into brown as she walk towards her. Her hair change into dark brown and her skin complexion turned olive. But she still wore the white nightdress. The past came back to Violet as she stared at her old friend.
"Hi, Violet." she said, smiling at her devilishly..
Violet suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. It was just a dream, a nightmare rather. She thought as she tried to calm herself down by taking deep breaths.
Sweats were dripping down from her forehead and she didn't dare to wipe it as her thoughts were focus on her dream. No matter how she longed for her mate to be with her, the past kept reminding her that she shouldn't.
Violet was raised and grew up who always stand firm to her decisions. The decision on refusing her mate was somehow successful until what happened earlier at the diner happens. In that instant, just because of a quick kiss, her facade faltered and started to be soft on her. She started to reconsider her decision. But the nightmare she just had was telling her otherwise. And she didn't know where side would she be.

The weather was surprisingly cold in the mid of August. Maybe because it will probably rain again or it was just because Skye was driving fast in an empty road. But whichever the reason was, she doesn't care. She's so determined to go to Violet's workplace. She's so determined to talk to her and thank her and most especially ask for her forgiveness. She just hope she allows her to.
A truck suddenly passed by, going against the opposite direction. She guess it was from the winery company that Violet own. Her company was actually located at the far end of the town, near the border. And that's where she was heading at.
When Skye saw an asphalt road on the left side of the main road, she turned her way. She lessen her speed this time as she was taking the way to the winery.
It was about seven minutes passed when she finally reached the gates. She stopped for while and took off her helmet.
There were two gates. The one on the right had high bars and it was closed while the other one on the left was open and it had a wide parking lot inside. The closed gate had long road and it seems that it was heading to a complex building that she can saw at the far end, which is obviously their manufacturing facility.
Skye put back her helmet and drove inside the open gates. The were some car that parked outside. She slowed down and find a perfect spot to park her Uno. She chose the spot where there was a waiting shed Infront of it.
She took off her helmet and get off from the bike when she finally parked. Her eyes immediately saw the two storey light gray office building that was located in her right.
She left her motorbike and headed towards the entrance of the building, fixing her clothes and hair on the way. She took a deep breath before she open the tinted glass door. No one was inside when she gets in. She also walk towards the front desk hoping there is someone she can talk to but there's still no one there.
Skye turned her head when she the sound of a tapping heels in the floor. When she looked at the hallway where she thought it was coming from, a tidy woman in a coat suddenly came out. She was talking with someone on her phone while carrying a couple of folders in her hand. She sat down in the chair behind the desk not even noticing her.
The woman was finished talking on her phone but she still didn't notice. So Skye cleared her throat to get her attention. She was successful as the woman lift her head up from the papers and look at her questioningly.
"Good morning." Skye said timidly. She is not shy at all she just can't stand the little bored facial expression of the woman in front of her.
"Can I talk to Violet Adams?" Skye asked her politely. She needs to do it so the woman would let her to.
"Do you have an appointment?" the woman immediately asked in monotone.
Skye forehead scrunched and answered a "No."
"Then I'm sorry you can't talk to her." the woman said before she get back to her work.
"Wait, do I really need one? You know It will be just a short talk. It will not consume her time, I promise." Skye said, raising her hand up as if she's pledging.
"No appointment, no talk." the woman replied.
"But it will just real quick." Skye insisted with a forced smile, convincing the woman.
"No appointment, no talk."
Skye just scoffed and sighed when the woman repeated it. "No appointment, no talk." she mumbled and rolled her eyes up when she turned around.
She opened the door and got back outside, walking towards where her motorbike was parked. 'What now?' she said to herself as she stands there at the parking lot.
She tried to think of an other way to talk to her when she spotted a familiar car among the others that were parked. She knew it. It's Violet's car.
She smiled to herself, she was still lucky today. If that woman doesn't want her to talk to Violet then she'll wait for her.
Skye chose to sit down on the waiting shed and patiently waits. She took out her phone from the pocket of her leathered jacket and play games on it when she felt bored.
It was about one in a half hour passed but she was still waiting outside playing on her phone. She was so focus on the game, just like a child, that she didn't notice the woman she had been waiting for had finally got outside the building.
Violet didn't notice her too and just continued to walk towards her car. She doesn't even picked up her scent.
Skye's attention was caught when she heard the sound of a car that's driving out from the parking lot. She lift her head and look at it.
"Oh s**t!" she said when she recognized the car that just passed the gates.
She hurriedly hop on her bike and put her helmet before she drives.
Skye drove fast when she finally hit the main road. She can see Violet's car far ahead so she drove a little faster. It was just like that when suddenly the car sped up too.
"What the?" Skye muttered as the car took a distance from so she sped up her motorbike too but the car drove faster than her motorbike.
They were like on a drag racing game. Driving madly on the road. They're just lucky that there were no other cars nearby or else they might get in an accident.
They continue to drive on their speed when the car suddenly turned right. Skye's eyes widened and quickly hit the brake while turning her motorbike and that cause a screeching sound. She successfully stop safely and looking incredulously at the path Violet took. It was narrow but a car can fit perfectly on it. But the grass were tall it looks like this path never been used for a long time.
"Is she serious?" Skye muttered as she breath hard. But she still start her motorbike and followed Violet.
It was about eight minutes passed when she finally found Violet's car. It was parked in the middle of the forest where the path's end. Skye immediately stop and took off her helmet. She then got off on her bike and walk towards the car.
She goes towards the driver side but she was a little shocked when there's no one there. Violet is not in the car.
"Hey! Where are you?!" she shouted around hoping that Violet would show herself out. But there was no response. And Skye suddenly felt fear as she remembers the day where she tried to find Lucas and ended up scared by a wolf.
"Violet?!" She shouted again but still there were no response. Skye tried to be brave. This woman help her , if there is something really happened to her she should help her too.
Skye started to walk towards the trees and called again.
"Violet?! Where are you?!" Skye started to get panic when she still didn't get a response from her. What if there's something really happened to her. What will she do?
Skye just continued to walk ahead while calling her name until she reached the lake and stopped when she saw the edge was a cliff. It was actually just seven feet high but you can get serious injury if you fall since there were rocks below.
She looked down from the cliff and muttered. "Geez." Then she step back and turned around.
"Ahhh!" Skye shouted when Violet suddenly appeared in front of her. She accidentally step her foot back and was about to fall from the cliff when a hand grab her arm and pulled her back.
The pull was so strong that they both got stumbled. Violet landed on her butt as Skye landed in her knees, hovering above the brunette.
They locked eyes for moment. Skye admired the beauty in front of her. But when she noticed where hand right hand was placed at, her face turned red.
Her left hand that Violet was still holding was on the ground while her right hand was on her breast.
Skye quickly stood up feeling embarrassed." I'm S-sorry." she said. "I didn't mean it." she added as she shook her head.
The brunette was still on the ground. Sitting there with her business suit. She didn't say anything though but she stood up and walk away. Not even glancing at her way. Leaving her there in the cliff.
"Hey wait!" Skye said and followed her.
Violet didn't stop and just continue walking ahead. She walk fast but Skye still followed her, copying the same pace.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean it, I swear." Skye said breathlessly, she felt guilty harassing her again. Even though she didn't mean to.
But her apologies fell in deaf ears as the brunette didn't talked back. 'Maybe she was upset that I followed her'. she thought.
"I know you figured out that I was following you that's why you turned your way here. Yes I am . But it doesn't mean I'm stalking you or wanted to harm you." Skye said as she followed the path she took. Violet lessen her pace now but she still didn't talk or even look back at her.
"Honestly, I just wanted to talk to you. That's why I followed you. I just wanted to say thank you." Skye continued. "I know it's you. The one who helped me on the alley. I don't care if you act like you don't me by my face but I just wanted you to know how thankful I am. So, thank you, for saving me." she added looking hopelessly at her back. Desperately wanting Violet to face her and say anything.
"Go home."
"What?" Skye suddenly asked when she heard Violet muttered something.
"I said go home. It'll get dark soon. You should go home by now." Violet said not even bothered to look her way and just continue walking.
Skye halted. It was the most long sentence she heard the woman in front of her said since they met. And she was captivated by her alluring voice.
The auburn haired girl shook her head and blink her eyes, trying to get herself away from a dazed. She walked again when she get to herself back.
"It's that all you gonna say?" Skye asked her as they were getting near the area where they parked their vehicle. And the brunette walk faster when she saw her car.
"Hey!" Skye shouted and ran towards her. "Wait up!" she said afterwards before she stood in front of Violet. Stopping her from her tracks.
Skye took a deep breath when and said."Look, about what happened yesterday, I-"
Her sentence was cut off when Violet suddenly step aside and walk ahead, clearly avoiding her.
"Hey. Don't walk away while I'm talking. It's rude, do you know that." Skye said when she turned around and faced Violet. Tiredness was obvious on her tone of voice.
"Then kissing someone without their consent isn't?" Violet retorted facing her. She was crossing her arms as she raised her eyebrow at her.
Skye stood up straight and opened her mouth but closed it again. She can't stand looking directly at her. She's more scary than Maddison.
"I didn't said it wasn't." Skye muttered as she scratches her eyebrow looking down on her feet. She can't look at her and talk to her properly if she's like that. But then Skye chose to be brave. She took a deep breath before she look at Violet.
"Aside from thank you, I also wanted to say I'm sorry I did that. It was supposed to be on the cheeks but then you turned your head so it landed on ... your lips." Skye said shyly, as she remember it.
"Just go home, kid." the reply the brunette said before it turned away from her. And Skye was a little annoyed on what she called her.
"I'm not kid. " she blurted out.
"Says the one who still plays a dare." Violet smirked and open her car door.
"How did you know it was a dare?" Skye asked with curiousity on her voice, which stop Violet from her tracks. She closed her eyes hard and cursed herself for not realizing what she have said.
Violet took a deep breath and said. "It doesn't matter." before she get inside her car and drove away, leaving a curious Skye .
