"Are you done?" Violet asked impatiently, standing with crossed arms in front of Skye. The latter startled at her voice and quickly opened her eyes.
"What?" She cluelessly said, looking up at her. She glanced at the tree were she just saw Violet leaning at just a half minute ago and look back at her again. She immediately wondered how the brunette got in front of her so quickly that she didn't even felt her presence. She just closed his eyes for a moment then all of a sudden she was there standing and glaing at her.
"We need to go. It's going to rain." Violet said looking up above the sky, uncrossing her arms. And by doing that, Skye had a better view of her jawline and flawless neck. She unconsciously gulped while staring at those. Then quickly averted her gaze when Violet stared at her again. "It will be difficult for us to walk down when the rain catches up with us here. So hurry up if you don't want to stay the night in the woods." She added and walk ahead, leaving the dumbfounded auburn haired girl.
Skye's gaze just followed her walking body, not saying anything and not even moving a single muscle. But when a loud sound of thunder roared above, she got startled again and immediately stood up and followed her, almost got stumbled from the small rubble on the way .
She groaned as she tried to catch up with her pace. Violet had been walking fast ahead since they left the cabin. Making her double up her speed. Which making her tired up easily and the steep down add up to her agony. She wanted to complain to her about it but she was afraid to met her intense gaze again.
Violet held authorativeness that some people might not like but skye doesn't mind it. She had a power to be obeyed all the time and the auburn haired girl subconsciously like it. It's like her mind and body wanted to submit to her anytime even though they weren't totally knew each other. Skye can't explain it but there's something like a force that's puling her to the brunette. She's like a puppy ready to obey. It's like the same with Chloe but this one she had an urge to follow. Heck they weren't even a thing and she's not even sure if they were considered as friend but she dont know why she's comparing her situation between the two.
"Hurry up!" Violet said. Raising her voice a little since Skye was far behind her. She still in a fast pace but Skye admired how she still look graceful.
The auburn haired girl did hurry up as she catches her breath. Tripling her speed if possible, practically running, when she heard the thunder again and the sky quickly turning dark. She tried to catch some help to some nearby trees everytime she took a quick pace down. It indeed help her but when she mistakenly took a step on a big rock, she lost her balance and fall ahead.
But in her current life she seems to be blessed much because before she could touch the ground, Violet catches her in time. But then it's too late for the brunette to hold their balance when they both fall to the ground. Violet's back hit the ground first , completely saving her from the fall. But the universe seems like had a different plan on them when they rolled down as soon as they hit the ground.
Skye's unaware to the surroundings since it was fast but she can feel Violet's strong grip on her and the small stones hitting on her back.
Luckily for them, they immediately halted on a flat ground. Skye felt her back hit the ground and she open her eyes. Violet is hovering above her. But instead of meeting her usual intense glare. Her eyes surprisingly look so concerned and worried. Her gaze was soft and Skye can't help but melted in those two beautiful orbs as the rain finally drops to the ground.
