"I'll meet you at three." Violet hanged up her phone and put it down on the dash board. It was seven in the morning and she is currently driving back home from the airport. She just got back from an out of town schedule. Her winery got nominated this year for the Delaires Wine Awards held at San Francisco yesterday. Which the organizers invited every owners of all the nominated wineries in America to represent their own company. The event took about two hours to finish, from one till three in the afternoon. Violet still had a time to go back home immediately by then but she chose to stayed for the after party. Some of the world's greatest winemakers and sommeliers was there, and she can't just missed the opportunities to talk, discussed and share ideas about winemaking among them. So instead of going home, she booked a room at the hotel and decided to go in the morning as soon as she wake up. Not even thinking about breakfast that's why her stomach is rumbling now. She needed to eat. Violet just passed the borderline of Southern Vale. The road were a little wet caused by the sudden rain last night and the sun was hiding behind clouds. The air was seemingly cool. It relaxes Violet's body as she felt the morning breeze touches her skin from the open window of her car. But despite of that, Violet cannot keep her mind relax and cannot keep her inner wolf calm. It's been four days since her third encountered with her mate. And actually the first encounter with her in her human form. She can't take her away from her thoughts. On that day, all she think of was the safety of her mate. And the urge to punch the guy on his guts. Her plans was just to scare the asshole and go back to Abby in the car, but then it changes when she saw the guy harassing her. Violet blood boiled and she can't stop herself from growling. Especially when Skye fell, she was ready to unleash her wolf but fortunately she stop it before her mate can see her. When she faced Hudson and growled at him, then he hurriedly scurried away when he knew who he was dealing for. When the guy was gone, Violet was about to leave but she cant let herself to. Her worries to her mate stop her from doing so. She wasn't supposed to but then she thought she can handle herself being close to her that's why she walk towards her half conscious mate on the ground and crouched down. She did handle it indeed. She even asked her if she's okay. But when her mate touched her face, that's when all the urges she worked hard for to keep, resurfaced. So she ran away as fast as she could before her mate could be fully conscious. And since then, she gets more agitated. Small things irritates her and her wolf form gets more aggressive everytime she recalls the feeling of her mate's touch. "Damn hormones." she said to herself and then she huffed. She bites the back of her index finger as she drives. She was lucky there were only just few cars on the road or she get in accident for not focusing enough on the road. Just for about ten minutes, she reached the town center. She wanted to get home so badly drink some of her favorite wine and lie down on her bed but her stomach suddenly grumbled. She was starving. She needed to eat some or else she'll get drained. Her inner wolf was already starving for her mate and she doesn't want to starved herself to death. Violet drives slowly and look for a place to eat. When her eyes saw the diner where her father brought her once when she's young, she decided to stop by. She parked her car beside the red pick up truck and got out. She was choosing to eat between omelette or pancakes as she walk towards the door. "Okay, try me then." Violet stopped on her tracks when heard the all too familiar voice. It was from her mate and it came from inside the diner. "Nah. I think you're still not brave enough." A voice of a young man said then he smirked. Violet forehead creased. She's confused as to what they were talking about. And what her relationship to that guy. Is she challenging her on something? Try her on what? Violet hoped it's not what she thinks it is. "You just think that. How would you know if you will not try her. " A slightly deep voice of a man said, it seems there is two guys with her. Violet was beginning to be worried. She was faintly growling while standing outside the diner near the door. "Yeah. I bet she's braver than you. You can't even finish yours." added by a little high pitched voice. It was a girl. Violet worries seemed ease as she knew that her mate had a female friend with her. She doesn't want that another guy will take advantage on her again. She might kill him this time. But what are they talking about? Violet heard a groaned probably from the first guy before it said. "Okay, okay. I'll give you a dare then." he said. Violet raised her eyebrow. So their playing a child's game then. Nothing to worry about. So silly of her to think something else. Violet sighed. Her mate's inside so she couldn't eat her breakfast here. She can't handle herself to be near her anymore. Instead of eating her breakfast, she will probably eat her. "Shut up." Violet half shouted to herself. Stopping herself from thinking such. She took a deep breath and turned around. She gracefully walk towards her car. She opened her door and was about to get inside when she heard the words. A dare that she would probably hated the most since now. "I dare you to kiss the most attractive person in this diner. "
