"W-what?" Skye quietly asked.
"I said I don't know. I don't have time to think about looking for it because I'm busy thinking about what to do with some drunk woman." Violet repeated, quite annoyed as she stood intimidatingly on the first step of the stairs. Skye thought she would nearly roll her eyes at her.
Skye instantly lowered her gaze and subtly cleared her throat. She was a little embarrassed. Of course Violet wouldn't bother to find her phone when she had something to deal with. It's entirely her fault. No one to blame but her.
"Okay." Skye replied, nodding a little.
Violet stared at her for a moment, assuming that she would say something else but decided to continue what she was about to do before Skye interrupted her.
"Your food is on the kitchen." The brunette said it with an uninterested tone before she move ahead and leave her.
Some people who don't know Violet would think she's cold and distant. Especially in this particular moment. Well , practically all the moment with her mate. But to be honest, this is all a facade. What she may shown outside is contrast what she was feeling inside.
Violet walked towards the opposite room as soon as she reaches upstairs. The room was originally to her father's room but she made it hers. To be cleared, the other one where Skye slept was really her bedroom. But since someone unexpectedly came here or she brought here to be exact, she opted to use that room for Skye and her lates father's room for her.
The brunette heard her mate sighed when the girl entered the kitchen downstairs. She waited outside facing the room's door as she silently waited for Skye's every move. Perking her ears and focusing her mind towards her and her every movement.
She heard some footsteps approaching the kitchen's counter. Then it stop for moment before she heard a chair that's being drag. Skye sat down and carefully took the spoon and fork beside the plate of food she prepared for her. Bacon and ham with scrambled eggs. Violet was clueless to what Skye wanted to eat for breakfast so she just cooked whatever is inside the fridge. It wasn't much but she felt great that she had some foods stuck there to eat.
When Violet heard Skye eat some with a satisfied sigh, she let out the breath she didn't know she holds before she turned the knob of the room's door and open it. She immediately walked towards the bed where the spared clothes that she already found earlier and wanted to lend for Skye was neatly folded. It's a plain white shirt and light blue jeans. Those were hers as well as the ones that Skye were currently wearing.
Violet sat down on the bed beside the folded clothes and lay herself down. She closes her eyes and focus on her mate again. Skye heard clatters of spoon and fork and chewing too. Her mate's even breathing and her scent made Violet's inside calm down and relax. She internally curses herself when she almost ready to kiss her mate earlier. How could she not? When her mate looks so innocently delicious in front of her. And insanely tempting for her to ignore. She wanted to kiss her endless. She wanted to continue what they did yesterday.
The brunette open her eyes quickly when she it came to her mind again. Good thing that Skye didn't remembered it. Or else it will be totally awkward for both of them and she can't stop herself to blush hard. The. those thoughts stop when she heard Skye stop eating abruptly and groaned afterwards.
"Ugh, fuckin' hang over." She heard Skye said. And Violet nearly scolded herself for not making a soup for her mate. Of course the girl would have a massive headache the next day but she totally forgot about it.
Violet sighed and closes her eyes again. Reminding herself to give Skye an Advil later when she gets down before she focus and listen again to Skye. She put it in her mind that there wouldn't be a possibility that she can have a moment like this with her mate again, so she savored the moment until it's lasts.
