Sighing, I folded an arm over the other, nodding as I leaned away from the wooden banister. I faced him full-on, watching his expression darken. "What exactly did I do wrong?" I blinked a few times before bursting into a laugh. "Are you really asking me this?" "Yes, I am." He nodded, standing hands akimbo. "If this is the direction this conversation is going, I don't think I am ready to have it. You don't get to ask me what you did wrong like I should be the one accountable for your actions." "Oh, really?" He scoffed. "You don't want to give me an answer and yet, you keep your distance from me like I did something wrong to you." "Yes, you did!" I snapped, eyes wide with lividity.
