Chapter 30. A Future Without Her.

Brie’s P.O.V

I held her hands and the next thing I knew we were in Depp’s office, but it looked really strange. He was sitting at his desk, frowning and looking at something. I knew that he couldn’t see me, so I walked closer to him just to see what he was looking at and it was a photo of us. Depp and I were sitting on a bench together smiling and I remember when Olive took that photo, but it looked so old and worn now. Why did it look like that?

“Brie, why did you leave me? Why after all these years of searching for you, I finally found you and you left me here all alone?” Depp said, but he sounded so sad, like he was going to cry. He stood up from his desk and threw the photo across the room, making the frame break the second it came into contact with the wall. He quickly got down on his knees and started cleaning it, like his life depended on it.

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to do it. Brie, you looked like you were sleeping and I was there with you every single day, hoping that you would wake up, but you never did. Why? If I could just see you one last time I would want you to tell me why you left me here.” Depp pleaded, talking to no one and then he looked like he was waiting for an answer, but it never came. He stood up with the pieces of the frame and the picture in his hands, but I saw that he had blood on his hands. I wished with all my might that I could help him, but I couldn’t. All I could do was watch on.

“It’s not over yet, come with me a few more years into the future.” The Moon Goddess said as I looked at her. I sighed as I reached for her hands and the next thing I knew we were somewhere else in the castle. It was the throne room and some woman was sitting next to Depp on the throne, but he didn’t look happy at all. They were talking to a few people and after a while they all left, but the woman and Depp stayed. Depp looked like he really didn’t want to be there at all and then the woman got up from her throne and kneeled before Depp, but that was when I got a good look at her face. I knew this woman, but how the hell did she get Depp to make her queen?

“My king, why are you still so sad? You have me now and you need to have a treaty with them because if we don’t then they will continue to attack us. What can I do to make you understand?” She said and smirked as she got closer to him.

“I know just what you need, you need a release.” The woman said, reaching to unbutton his pants, but he pushed her away.

“I don’t need a f*****g thing from you. You’re only the queen because Brie died and you are only here until this business is done, then I will reject you, like I have told you I will time and time again.” Depp said, standing up and pushing her to the side.

“WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THAT SHE IS GONE, DEPP!!! SHE IS GONE AND SHE IS NEVER COMING BACK, BUT I’M HERE!! I’M RIGHT HERE WAITING FOR YOU LIKE I ALWAYS HAVE BEEN!!! YOU THINK THIS IS A f*****g GAME!!! I AM THE f*****g QUEEN NOW AND I’M NOT GOING TO GIVE UP MY CROWN SO EASY!!!” The woman screamed and stormed past him. I followed behind her and noticed that she and Depp didn’t share the same room. I watched as Mona was pacing back and forth in her room, until she heard a knock on the door causing her to stop. She looked like she was waiting for whoever it was and stormed over to the door, throwing it open.

“It’s about damn time you got here. I need more of that potion, he needs to completely forget about that bitch.” Mona said, as another woman walked into her room. I knew her, her name was Tabby. What the f**k was she doing here?

“Well Mona, if you’d have let her pass on her own instead of poisoning the IV, then he might have forgotten about her by now. This is all your fault, but if you give him any more then you will kill him.” Tabby replied and I watched as Mona smirked.

“Well that wouldn’t be such a bad thing, in fact it would make me queen of the lycans and no one could overthrow me.” Mona said, making my anger rise.

“You are wrong about that, there will always be someone there to challenge you and one day you will lose. Don’t get cocky, Mona, because you will lose before you even know what hit you.” Tabby replied, but Mona just laughed. Tabby left the bedroom shaking her head and not giving her the potion. It was obvious that she was on her own with this, but then there was another knock on the door and instead of Mona opening it, a strange man walked in.

“Who the hell is this and why is he in her room?” I asked, but the Moon Goddess shook her head at me.

“Child, just watch and listen. You will soon learn why.” The Moon Goddess replied and I turned to face the scene in front of me. The man walked right up to Mona and put his arms around her, then kissed her passionately.

“Soon love, soon I will challenge the king and I will kill him. We will rule this kingdom and make everyone pay to be in this castle.” The man said, pulling away from her and making Mona smirk.

“Maybe I should put enough poison in his food to make him weak and then when you challenge him he will be too weak to fight and you will be able to easily kill him.” Mona said and this time the man smirked.

“Oh you little b***h, you would do that for me? That is another reason why I love you.” He said and kissed her once again before pulling away and sighing.

“I need to leave before he catches us together. Make sure that you use that spray so he won’t smell my scent in here or on you. We will be together soon, my love.” The man said and with that he jumped out of the window. Mona took the spray and began spraying the room and herself, but I could feel Depp getting closer. I was watching everything and I was starting to get pissed off. There was a knock on the door and I knew that it was Depp.

“Come in.” Mona called out and Depp walked into the room, but he was pissed off and not in a calm way, in a murderous way.

“Mona, I came here to say a few words to you. First off, I never wanted you as my queen and we haven’t even mated to make it official. I don’t want you and I never will want you. I know that you have been f*****g around and I honestly don’t care because I don’t care about you, but why the hell would you think I would want you when you are set out to betray me? Remember b***h, I can read thoughts and I know that it's you that killed my Brie. I can’t prove it because it’s just your thoughts, but when I do prove it I am going to f*****g torture you in every way possible and then I’ll kill you. Do I make myself clear?” Depp said, growling and then he turned to walk out of the room, but Mona screamed and grabbed a pair of scissors from her dresser. She ran towards him and stabbed him in the arm, but he turned and grabbed the scissors from her, then broke her arm and hand. She screamed out in pain as he looked right at her, but I knew that he was mind-linking for the guards to arrest her. No more than a minute went by when the guards came and grabbed Mona by the arms, making her scream out in pain again.

“Take this b***h to the dungeon and torture her until she admits that she killed the queen. Use silver, wolfsbane and anything else you want. I want her dead.” Depp said, but then Mona started laughing a strange laugh, almost psychotic.

“You will be dead before me. Those scissors I cut you with had poison on them and I know that they stabbed through your skin, so the poison is already in your bloodstream.” Mona said, laughing hard and loud as the guards took her away. Depp just stood in the middle of the room, but suddenly he started sweating and not just a little either.

The Moon Goddesses P.O.V

I knew what was going on and I could feel Depp’s lycan, Holler, trying to heal him, but it would be no use.

“No, you're not going to die, I refuse to let my human die, so you’re not going to. Understand me?” Holler said, speaking into Depp’s mind. I could hear what he was saying and how hard he was trying, but Brie couldn’t. Brie was watching everything with panicked eyes and suddenly Depp fell to his knees, clutching and tearing at his chest and stomach.

“NOOOO!!! DEPP!! STAND UP, YOU HAVE TO STAND UP!!!!” Brie screamed out, pleading and begging him, but he couldn’t hear her and then she turned to me.

“Okay, okay, send me back. Please send me back, Moon Goddess. I can’t let him die like this, not this way. Please no, please send me back, Moon Goddess.” Brie pleaded with me and I calmly turned to face her.

“Calm down, my child. All you have to do is wake up, but you have to want to wake up. Just close your eyes and you will be back in the room, my child.” I replied and she quickly nodded, but I could see how panicked and worried she looked. If she didn’t calm down then she wouldn’t make it back to her body and would be stuck here, living this nightmare of what was to come from her not waking up.
