"Keen, I did nothing wrong. You should know that I do not support your silly plays," I fired back at my wolf. "Do you think if you push me deep within you, I won't be able to save Maria? She's the only woman I love, and I won't stand by and let her be bullied."

I tried talking to Keen, but he ignored me. I also hadn't seen my mate. I didn't know what was going on with her. I missed her. I left the office with her on my mind. With a heavy heart, I sat in my chair and started working. Tomorrow, Lycan King Beta could arrive to sign the peace pact.
