(Yemisi is at the back yard of the house cross checking her solar project, making some amendment and testing it to be sure if it's okay. Her mother joined her)
Yemisi:
Mummy, look at my project. How is it?
Mama Yemisi:
Well done, my daughter. This is so beautiful my daughter. Wait, who taught you all this things? How did you come up with this huge idea? Do you mind to tell me?
Yemisi:
(Smiles) Thank you mum. Well, It was the idea of me and my group members. We read it in our textbook. We were taught how to produce electricity power from sun. So we decided to check it out by working towards it and with the help if God and our Chemistry teacher (Mr Adekunle), we were able to achieve it. And as you can see mum, it's working perfectly. Mum, I'm so happy for myself and my group member because I think we can win this competition with this huge project of ours.
Mama Yemisi:
(Clapped for her) This is wonderful. Can you now see the power of team work and unity.
Yemisi:
Yes mummy. (Pursed for a while) Mummy, what about the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination that I said I want to do this year?
Mama Yemisi:
Do you think you are ready for that exam now? Or you'll wait till next year for proper preparation.
Yemisi:
I'm ready mum. I will pass with good grades mum. I'm ready for it. I can't wait to go to the university and this will also save the school fees that am suppose to use for my SSS 3 from first term to third term.
Mama Yemisi:
You're right my daughter. May God help you.
Yemisi:
Amen.
Mama Yemisi:
Well done. So when will you submit this project?
Yemisi:
Next week mum. I can't wait (rejoicing)
Mama Yemisi:
Alright. Food is ready. Let's go and eat. (They both walk inside).
