Isaiah
We arrived near the house where she lived. I was ready to find her and bring her to Killian, my leader. As soon as I found it, I hid behind some bushes until nighttime arrived. My men were in position just in case anything went out of control and I needed their help. That girl was coming with us tonight. Nothing, or no one would stop our mission.
We saw her parents leave the house a few hours later, and we were ready to go in. Luckily the door was left open, and we walked in silently. We tried not to make a single bit of noise since those creatures have sensitive hearing. We did not want anyone to know we were here. I walked through the living room, exploring every item there.
Pictures of her were hanging on the walls and we saw a homey environment in front of us. There were also a lot of decorations around the house.
As I was about to go up the stairs, I saw her figure. She was just standing there, looking down at me. I felt a certain pull to her. It was really strong. It was as if she was calling me. Something was running wild inside of me. The hair on my arms went up, and a shiver ran through my whole body.
"Who are you, and what are you doing in my house?" she said through her mind. How come I could listen to what she was saying without having to move her mouth? Maybe it was some magical power on her. I needed to know more about her and discover her secrets.
"I am here for you, princess. Your parents are looking for you everywhere and they want me to take you home" I lied and for some reason, she knew. She scoffed and I knew she didn't believe me.
"You think you can fool me? I know better than that, you are not to be trusted" she replied walking down the stairs only halfway just in case I decided to do something to her. Hugging herself with her arms, she continued "who are you? What are you doing in my house, and why do I feel like your body and your mind are calling me despite not trusting you?"
"I am just a friend of your parents" I put my hands up, letting her know I didn't mean any harm.
"Why would you lie to me? I have a feeling you are not who you say you are" she asked, a little fearful. I tried to walk over to her, extending my hand to touch her face. She walked back, not letting me touch her. There was still something calling me to her.
One of the hunters tried to get her from behind, but she felt him and turning around she tried to get away from him, while bumping into me. Her shock was clear as she looked at me. Her eyes opened wide and I could hear her mumble 'Mate'.
Her fear kept rising even more. I could see her eyes turning into a lavender color. I knew what that meant. Her Gargoyle wanted out. "Please don’t do it, don't make it hard on us Princess," I said again, trying to keep her calm. My heart was melting at the sight of her. She was beautiful and I was enchanted.
"Please, do not hurt me. I am begging you" she pleaded which made my heart race even more. She was begging us to not hurt her. One of the hunters pricked her with a sedative and she fell in my arms.
"Who are you really?" I whispered, trying to touch her one more time. I moved her hair away from her face and just stared at her eyes. A smile appeared on my face and I realized she was just as innocent as any other human.
I decided to lift her up myself and carry her to the portal. Something was telling me to keep her safe and to take care of her. My question was, why does she think I am her Mate?
Ulric
We arrived where we had left our daughter eighteen years ago. I ordered my warriors to look for her house. She must have shifted, and we could sense her power. That would make it easy for us to find her.
We finally found her house, and we saw the lights on. We approached the door and rang the doorbell. I could hear crying from the other side and I instantly knew something bad had happened.
"Ulric, I have a bad feeling. I can smell her, but I can't sense her" I hear Alianor say. The door opened, and my eyes opened wide. It was them. Isabel and Jack. We had left our daughter with the most dangerous hunters in our Kingdom. How could we not realize it was them that night we left our daughter on that bench? They knew who we were too, because their shock mirrored ours.
"It is you" Isabel said, letting out a gasp "come in" She moved away to let us in. We walked in, checking out the house. There was no sign of her, but we could sense her fear.
"Where is my daughter?" I asked, going straight to the point. They both looked at each other, not knowing what to say. Alianor walked from behind me and asked them, "Where is she? Please tell us. We came back to get her and bring her home".
Jack walked to us and with guilt on his face he said, "She's gone. We don't know where, but we have a feeling someone might have taken her"
"WHAT?!!" I growled, making them flinch at my voice.
"Please, we don't know where she is. We left the house for a bit and when we came back, she was gone. " Isabel tried to plead, but I wasn't having it. My wife touched my arm to calm me down. Her gentle touch always worked miracles.
"Do you have any idea where she might have been taken? Who else knows about her?" Alianor asked her.
They stood there quiet for a minute, "Where is she!!!" I growled once again.
"We don't know!" Isabel yelled at me crying. I tried to keep my composure.
"Let's go back home. We need to know where she is" I said "You two are coming with us".
I ordered my warriors to grab them and take them with us. They came without argument, they wanted to find her too. My little princess, where could you be?
