When my alarm sounded at 7:30 this morning, I breathed a sigh of relief! Just a few more hours, and I would be free to escape into the weekend! I loved learning, but I hate school! The sooner this year is over, the sooner I can spend time dreaming of what I wanted to spend my time doing.
I rolled over and stretched across my bedside table to shut off the buzzing. Daylight streaked in through the cracks in the curtains, and I looked up to see my dress for tonight hanging casually on my wardrobe door. Butterflies erupted in my stomach at the thought of finally wearing it!
