"I think my masterpiece is complete!" Bri took a step back from me and looked at my face. She had been powdering and drawing on my face for what felt like hours, attempting to make me look presentable for tonight.  "Can I look?" Her hand, still holding her make-up brush gestured towards the full-length mirror and I rose to stand in front of it. I took a peek at myself through my squinting eyes for a brief second, before they flew open in shock. I was stood in my bright green metallic dress, with silver heels and matching statement jewellery.
