Chapter Forty-One. Mars.
I hate this with a passion. Knowing that I am leaving my mate and pup, even if it is only for a few days. I honestly don’t know if I can do it! But, I know that I have to. Work has been so understanding this past week, and the lodge is amazing. Not as big or as beautiful as a pack house, but still, it is a luxury my family are not familiar with. I have never been materialistic, since I ran from my attackers, but I find I am now. I don’t want the finer things in life for me. But, for my mate, because she deserves the best of everything. Plus, Max is amazing and well, he is my pup, so of course he has to have the best! Although I know my mate will stop him from being a spoilt little Alpha pup.
